CT Imaging: Appendicitis

Hi, I was admitted to hospital on Monday with clear signs of acute appendicitis, CT wasn't performed until Thursday afternoon. Main pain and fever symptoms had subsided by Tuesday afternoon but I was still feeling mild discomfort in the lower right hence continued stay in hospital and scan. Doctor has discharged me from hospital with no explanation of continued lower right pain and he said no signs of inflammation regardless of the fact I still feel pain when the area is pressed. If discomfort continues should I return to hospital?

fantastico you are a great teacher. I don't know about this im just a construction worker but i have a problem with my abdomen 18 years ago.the doctor took x rays my ascending colon was inflamated before turning to horizontal colon the doctor tolde those were stools dint guive me any medicine i got better after 3 months. then after 17 years got sick again on the stomach im good now after 3 months no medicine. so i started watching the scan videos and you are super good explaining . thanks for your wonderful time sorry por el ingles

excellent demo of appendicitis

From my experience with appendicitis the CT scans need to be done while the attack is happening and has no subsided.. I was told if the pain comes that's when I need to get to the hospital and that if the pain subsides it will be much harder to tell if it's the appendix. Does this make sense to anybody ? also They made me drink Barium sulfate.
