@@lutesjay RCMP and news reports. 90% or more of the fires were arson last year. RCMP caught them. Other 10 % were cigarettes, open campfires. What your theory of the fires, spontaneous combustion. LOL It’s not dry conditions, it’s called spring and summer.

So are you saying nature couldn't do this on its own? Are you saying only human intervention could cause these wildfires? If that is true, why then would you not assume that climate change is a product of human activity and exists. Because every time I see arson being "responsible" for these wildfires, I think to myself, how can someone who uses a science based platform (RU-vid and the Internet would not exist without the discoveries of science) promulgate fiction over scientific fact. There was no winter in Alberta. There was no snow pack. It has stayed very dry. These conditions don't need much help from lightning to set off wildfires considering that a storm can drop 5 cloud to ground lightning strikes a minute. This is self evident. Its a no brainer. One doesn't need conspiracy fiction to see that this can easily happen. Next you'll start telling me its Jewish Space Lasers. Oh right that is already done to death right?

You do realize that a small thunderstorm can drop 5 cloud to ground lightning strikes per minute. As the storm becomes more extreme that frequency increases meaning more strikes per minute. Are you saying this phenomenon alone couldn't set off massive forest fires? Does nature so need human intervention to set off wild fires? Because I find your analysis to be more far fetched than the one I just placed before you here.
