Dwain Marcus Everything’s fine! Very happy to find you well too, because I can see you on the video 😀! Here they had a very unpleasant lockdown period from mid March till mid May. It was extremely stupid, like “dictatorship” flavor stupid, because to just walk out we needed to sign a paper stating the exit hour and stay out for no longer than 1h and not further than 0.6 mile radius. It was sooo annoying, people need to be out and breathe for health and tonus, the virus is not out in parks and streets, it is in closed rooms and mostly through touch... anyway, all the cafe places were closed, all cinemas, restaurants, bookstores... so now everything is opened but they oblige us to put masks entering any indoors public space. Less annoying than the lockdown, besides we can walk as long and as far we like. And best of all GA clubs opened and we fly now. I profited from the commercial aviation’s decline and did pleasant transits and touch and go in otherwise busy Toulouse airport. PS note that during lockdown masks were not obligatory but now they are haha. I suspect that since they produced an abysmal quantity of masks, extremely late, now they have a surplus and don’t know how to get rid of them so they oblige people to use them. Is the situation in any way similar there? Cheers! Ross
Its just like we are flying with you to this wonderful event Dwain,if I was there I would cadge a flight and offer to clean down your airplane for you ! I loved it when that chap at the airfield said that if you love aviation then you are welcome and mentioned being part of the fellowship,we need more folk like him, excellent.
Hi there L, how are you doing. I hope to see you at the 2021 Main Street Art Festival. That art festival was always the highlight of spring for me, Lori, and of course Jim. I was very disheartened that they canceled it this year. Take care, my friend.
