Hi Dom, I like your tutorials a lot. Therefore if you could a tutorial on how to use the Midi effects: Midi Echo, Context Gate and Chorder, I guess the community would appreciate it a lot, as I believe these Midi effects will be ignored by too many Cubase users. Have a good one.

I rly love Cubase, but in some cases the automation in Cubase is still just painfull. First of all, its not possible without a workaround to fix a parameter as "zero point" in this daw before automation. For example. If i automate the volume in one part i want it automatic to be were it was at the beginning of my automation. Just never forget the endpoint before you start. The second thing. Just never forget to disable the w button when done. Im sure im not the only one that was playing around and endet up with 30 new, and unwanted lanes. This one thing is just better solved in many other daws.

Wooow, that's nice. For me Cubase is more the audio recording DAW. So, looping a song part, like it's done in the Ableton or Bitwig scene view is not possible in Cubase Elements? It was really annoying, as I, as a drummer, wanted to fire a sample or track... and somehow I ended up in grabbing the Live Intro.

Hi Dom! Great video! Is there a way to (trim or increase) selected automation using the range selection tool by 1 db at a time using a keyboard shortcut? I have played with the Project Logical Editor, no luck. I see a preset for trim by 10% but not specifically 1 db increments.

Thanks for your insights! Suggestion: When doing a side chain, I am confused about the difference between the control of the amount I can send to the effect (pre or post) and the basic volume controlled by the fader of the send channel. Could you clarify this ? Thanks

Hey Dom, when i do some automations i'm not able to ride the fadder as it always goes back to the volume i did on the automation. Is it possible to automate something but ride the volume fader while sticking with the same automations i did (just changing the overall volume but keeping the automations)? let me know. Thanks

Dom can you help me! I want to assign a generic remote button to change preset for a plugin in Control Room inserts The plugin is Soundworks and it offers a next/previous preset function, but I cannot get it to work :( ❤
