Thanks! it really depends to be honest, depends on which car I'm driving. Out of the wireless wheels I have owned that were open. the b16m + turn r20 was a great combo if you want to use the box on other rims. For a complete package, the SRB GT3 is the king for me. The ergonomics of it are great, the size is perfect, the weighting feels good, buttons, funky..all good. I started a partnership with SuperSonic Manufacturing as of late so if you decide to go with something on their site, i will have a 5% discount code later on this week you can use to save a little coin.

Ya man, it's a nice feeling rim. I wanted to get the p310 and this rim so I can switch in and out but I wanted the carbon front plate too much. Good design for a 2 piece style system 👍🏾

Thanks man! look at the Srb option also if you need a lot of easy to access controls. I'll probably upgrade to their newest version with funky switch. The previous version is spot on for me👍🏾. The SimCore box I have is also perfect for me due to the dual funky switches.

@@GTGREG another thing was the view to your dash display. Don't think you mentioned it, but it looks clear and open with this design! I'm guessing you can see straight through the Sparco one unhindered?

@@floydthebarber71 my bad, ya I don't have any obstructions with the wheel and dash, only on round rims does it somewhat become blocked off but the angle and opening on the p310 is near ideal to still see it clearly 🤙🏾

Shoudnt be a problem. The QR that comes with the SC2 has a wheelside mount. The mounting on the GT PRO has a built in universal 70/50m adapter so itll bolt right on assuming you still have the SC2 hardware.

funky switches are life! definitely worth using another USB port!

I didn't notice any loose parts of the wheel I received it, I sold it the next day but it was pretty solid all around. Sorry man 😒

Yes, I just got the new v2 and its incredible. The funky switch and new buttons are a welcome addition. Perfect wheel if you ask me. The cube is also very good but I think the GT3 is generally a better wheel, even without the delicous carbon that the cube wheel has.

@@GTGREG Do you know if all directions of the7-way funky switch work on Assetto Corsa Competizione? I heard the Turn racing version of the GT3 wheel has funky switch problems.

Hey Petr, So with this review, the wheel is a little closer than normal do to the QR mount adding 1" of additional length to my already extended by 55mm SC2 Mount. From a driver position standpoint, I try to get the top half close to ideal position meaning, my arms with a bend are shoulder level on the steering wheel wth the center shaft pointed towards my mouth. A big part of the driving position for my particular build was to replicate the driving position in my street car. Usually im not that close to the wheel and that could have had an effect on how the steering felt so I tried to back the seat off a little bit and i still noticed the same ergonomic issues as mentioned before. I think it has to do more so with the fact that my thumbs are rotated more towards the center of the steering wheel vs covering the outside of the rim. Think of it as a super duper strong golf grip if you will. If my grip was more to the outside like a standard rim, there wouldn't be an issue with the rotation as i would be essentially rolling the wheel vs twisting it if that makes sense. Long winded answer but i try to get as close to a real GT driving position as possible . An easy way to see what im talking about is take both hands, make fists like your holding a pipe or something vertically, while holding a fist, rotate the thumb side of both fists so they face away from your face and try to mimic the rotation with both your palms kinda facing away, then with a normal balled fist position . Look at the bottom hand when you do your air rotations and thats what im trying to represent if that makes sense.

@@GTGREG Hi very nice review, I own the same wheel and I have had the same discomfort you mentioned while rotating around 90 or more degrees. I was used to Turn R20 evo rim so quite different ergonomic I would say.. With that said, what drastically improved my situation was to reduce the wheel deck angle (DD base angle), Ideally the plate of your wheel rim should face your shoulder regardless the hight you prefer. I was racing at Hockenheim Ring and the 3rd right corner with 270 degrees of rotation was painful on my thumbs and wirst now by reducing the wheel deck angle I feel in love again with this product. Hope it can help someone

It's not bad, it just has a very strange grip on it that is a little weird ergonomically. If I was gonna rate this thing, it would be. 6/10. I would choose another wheel for the money tbh. I sold it immediately after the video

@@GTGREGgot this wheel and it is way better than simracingbay v2 or any i touched, and today was racing with ascher mclaren pro rim and cube controls amg rim, they are both good but mclaren ascher is perfect to me, despite this cube gt-zero is also great except rubber plastic feeling! So this tim is great what is strange cause you tild it is strange for you, youtube review isnalmost pointless, either payed guys doing it either again payed 😂

@@amigoz3201 maybe they made it better after 2 years. I'm not sure if I'm interpreting your comment correctly. Are you saying that the cube wheel is better than SRB? for me it was just. OK, IM glad you like the AMG wheel, Ill be trying one of those soon. I also agree with you about RU-vid reviews, its 99% cap.

I don't know what their deal is tbh, they have all the ability to make great wheels but chose to stay super boring. They should launch a higher quality line within the brand to satisfy the guys that spend big money with them. The type of person that spends 1600 for a base would probably want a super quality wheel to match, makes me wonder🤔

@@GTGREG So how are you liking this wheel? I just received my SC2 Pro. Sold my DD2 and all my remaining Fanatec hardware yesterday...Thank god!! I have the SimCore UM1-ALN wheel mount coming for my P1X and the HRS XeroPlay QR system as well. I’m really on the fence about my first wheel. I mostly drive cars with the Pro Sim H-pattern so I’ll continue using my MOMO wheels but I want at least one legit bespoke wheel. I really like the look of this wheel. George at SimCore is playing around with some designs to make a basic 6 button no paddle shifter button plate for me.

@@OhItsThat how much of a difference you would say between DD2 and SC2 pro ? Worth changing ?

@@MP-78 It’s absolutely worth it. In my opinion the SC2 Pro by far out performs the DD2. It’s Smooth, faster and the ffb is more refined. Plus it looks better, no gimmicks like the OLED screen. It’s just a serious piece of machinery but still looks sleek. Most important is the freedom of not being stuck in an ecosystem. There are so many cool accessories available from so many different fantastic manufacturers. QRs, mounts, extensions, steering wheels (that don’t require a $200 Podium Hub) That’s one thing that really swayed me from Fanatec. If I wanted to use a $100 steering wheel on my DD2 I needed to spend over $200 on top of that for a Podium Hub. Now it’s about $50 for a wheel side Spigot for me. The fan on my DD2 broke in the first two months of owing it. The power supply stopped working the day before the person I sold it to came to pick it up. The SC2 has been solid. Not saying that all of them are but it’s just more confirmation of my decision to switch. Plus man, If you were happy with the Podium we wouldn’t even be having this discussion. I still like Fanatec and recommend some of their products to people. I just don’t recommend the shifter and the Podium line.

I don't know if I would say it's better but for me it's a bit better to hold in the hand. Because of the thumb slot, it puts your hands on strange positions for 90 degree turns. The new turns girls are too thick in my opinion. I would choose this over the r20 because of the thickness.

@@GTGREG thanks ! I was tyring to decide and a little put off the Turn because of the comments on thickness... so I will probably order the Cube wheel now as you can buy it seperate I see.
