In The Lake the box can be opened without information from any other game. The box you managed to open is the optional one. 😊 It's always interesting to watch different people do the puzzles, you immediately understood that the codes around the room were colours, other people didn't get that at all sometimes they even didn't get it after they got the paint. On the other hand, there were also people who got the mirror box code almost immediately. Different strengths for different people. 😄 The little question mark in the ear is telling you that it's black on the painting you already finished.

Okay I finished watching! Kudos for getting through the rough bits! The earlier Rusty Lake games can be tricky, and I'm impatient enough I used a guide here or there for a puzzle 😅 But imo the games get better both from a gaming perspective and in terms of story development and intrigue. I'm excited to see you get to my favorite games in this series if you play all of them! Also your reaction to the corrupted soul when you stabbed was so funny 😆 that scare got me so good when I first played. The achievement you were chasing in Seasons should work, I hope you get it!

@@cecewho Paradox is my favorite! Roots, Hotel, and Underground Blossom are all really excellent too. From the CE collection Case 23, Birthday, and the Cave might be my top choices. There aren't any I dislike though
