Pool day at Vdara with some cucumber coolers! We devour Hattie B’s and head to Fremont for some gambling. There was a screaming kid on SlotZilla at Fremont and we finally try Pink Box donuts! We end the day with dinner at China Poblano and some more gambling at the Bellagio!

The scuffed furniture and walls surprised me because it’s such an easy fix. At Palazzo we always see a “repair” cart on the floor along with the housekeeping and they go around touching up chips and scuffs etc in the empty rooms.

I love Vdara and EASILY consider it one of the three most underrated Strip resorts alongside Sahara and Delano, but it definitely is due for a refresh alongside Aria. I wouldn't even consider Vdara nor Aria five-star resorts at this time because of how dated their rooms are as well as their service, though good, not reflecting the true definition of a five-star resort right now. But I genuinely love Vdara regardless and glad you had a great time there! 😇 The recent cyberattacks have been most unfortunate, but they haven't diminished my opinion on MGM Resorts at all. Definitely prefer them significantly over Eldorado-era Caesars Entertainment in terms of customer service and overall experience although I do always like mixing up where I stay for variety. 😇 Glad to see more of your adventures! 🙂

Absolutely agree and couldn't have said it better! The walkway connecting Vdara to Cosmo and Bellagio is a HUGE benefit to staying there. We're trying to mix it up too and try new properties each trip. MGM props are our primary pick, but Venetian/Palazzo are quickly becoming our fave!

@@DaverrasonTravels The new walkway is amazing! 😍 I enjoy strolling the entire Strip anyway, but the new walkway makes getting between the three MGM resorts soooooooo much more convenient when it’s either too cold or hot outside in particular. It’s game-changing! 🥰 I always use myVEGAS loyalty points for part of my Vegas stays at MGM resorts, and then otherwise mix it up between the other resorts. 🥰

Good friend works at Vdara. She said 90% of the people who come into the hotel are comp rates. I am thinking that is why they do not update the rooms.

I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO FROM YOU GUYS…..LOVE TO SEE YOU IN LAS VEGAS ACTION. IT’S ACTUALLY SAD TO SEE WHAT THESE MORONS DO TO THE ROOMS IN LAS VEGAS AND ALL OVER THE WORLD. THEY TRASH THEM AND TREAT THEM HORRIBLY. SOME PEOPLE HAVE NO RESPECT FOR ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD. IT’S THE SAME WITH RENTAL CARS. THEY BEAT THEM INTO THE GROUND SINCE THEY DON’T OWN IT. I STOPPED STAYING ON THE VEGAS STRIP MANY YEARS AGO AND DON’T MISS IT ONE BIT. I’M A BASIC 4 QUEENS DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS GUY. IT’S A BASIC ROOM AND I’M GOOD WITH THAT AND THE 4 QUEENS IS MY PLACE. SOMETIMES I STAY ON THE STRIP FOR THE ACTION AND VIBE BUT NOT OFTEN. MY WIFE HATES VEGAS SO SHE STAYS AT HOME WHILE I GO AT LEAST 10-12 TIMES A YEAR. THE FEW TIMES SHE COMES, IT’S THE HIGH END STRIP PLACES BUT I HATE THE GAMBLING VIBE AND MOST OF THE SNOB PEOPLE IN THOSE PLACES. KEEP UP THE GREAT VIDEOS AND KEEP ON PUTTING OUT THOSE LAS VEGAS VIDEOS FOR ALL OF US WHO LOVE WATCHING YOU GUYS.

Love the Vdara pool … we will be there in the not so distant future soaking up them rays(want to be as tan as Dave 😂😎) you’re also allowed to bring in I believe two drinks per person at Vdara pool if you’re #frugal like us😂😂🤘🤘 That Caveman 7 spot pattern is Kid approved 👏👏. Super Dave and Sonia 🤩 You said it right , “ LOVING VEGAS ! “ Fun pool at Vdara and great times on Fremont St ; you guys take our exact route 😂 The Mega bar at Circa (length of 165 feet, it holds the title of Nevada's longest indoor bar) is one of our stops. Fun Fact : being Canadian I haven’t been to “Bar Canada” at the D as of yet ; gotta step up my game and head there next time I’m in Vegas . Question: When you heading to Vegas for your next trip ? This long weekend will be CANADA 🇨🇦 DAY - so it’s going to be a busy one across Canada 🇨🇦 playing it low key and just doing BBQ Salmon and shrimp to celebrate is all - Cheers ! Chef Bari

I really need a keno lesson from you guys. I never win at it. I’m always surprised by all the Disney characters in Vegas considering how aggressively Disney defends their brand. I know a local choir here in Iowa that designed a show with a Disney theme and they got a cease and desist from them.

We much prefer going downtown in the daytime compared to nighttime. We find it more enjoyable without all the people 😂 A Caesar at bar Canada is on my list of drinks to try, maybe in November. And same with China Poblano, I really need to go there too.
