I've reused the same Cuei griptape on 3 boards. First time was a 40" freeride dk. 2nd time was on a slalom DH style deck, and the griptape was reglued with rubber cement on with the backing still there. 3rd time, and final time, I peeled it off again, but this time the backing came off. But I just reglued it again with rubber cement (without its backing sheet) on another tiny slalom DH style deck, and I'm still on this 3rd iteration right now. Doesn't look like the grip actually loses any of its sharpness too. Awesome how it has lasted me 3 years on 3 different boards now.
@@owencampbell777 Actually, I didn't, lol. But it's okay tho, it still works without its backing. However, I did find that the original glue didn't stick too well because it was already coming off in some areas prior to the first removal. (My 40" dk did have some extreme curvatures at the bubble drops. So the grip was coming off at the deepest parts around the drops, but the other parts were still stuck well, so it was kinda floating in those deep parts.) (edit: I did use heat to try and restick those floating parts. Even cut some relief cuts in them to conform better, but they still kept coming off somehow.)
