I hope to open a culinary mentoring program aswell for my community. These kids need mentors to show them a vision for themselves that can take them far allowing them to create with their own hands. ❤

What not going back to school?? I will tell you important advice. Being a chef is only worth while if you plan on making the sacrifice. Working long hours, holidays , when you don't feel well. Work for the best chef in your area , James Beard winners, Michelin star chefs. Pay the dues as a grunt, sous, and you will eventually get the keys to your own kitchen. The industry is brutal and doesn't reward mediocre workers.
