Culross Palace stands in the middle of the town of Culross. It dates to the 17th and 18th Centuries, and it is now in the care of the National Trust for Scotland (NTS). It was also used as a filming location for the TV series, Outlander.

The Palace is beautiful, as is Culross itself. The village does get really busy though so timing is everything! Thanks for this.

Yeah, I can imagine Culross getting busy. I think that I was lucky with my time and was able to visit it at a relatively quiet time

Last time we tried to visit it was shut. Outlander is not an attraction for us LOL

It was the last time I was there. There does seem to be some people who enjoy visiting the filming locations.

We stopped into Culross Palace while on holiday,the lady working told us a funny storey about tourists munching on the wild strawberries growing in the garden,she posted wee sign asking people not to pick them but still they did so she gave up and said " fine,go ahead and eat the strawberries all the local cats pee on" 😅⁶
