My husband was a shaman occultist for many many years. And as of this Friday its 5 years him being saved. And he acknowledged he was seeking knowledge and got knowledge from very demonic entities. Thank you for your work.
It's really interesting to me where people get these strange niche beliefs on the supernatural. Did your husband make it up, visit the nearest occult temple or was it something he found online?
Man! Cultish team, I hope you tag the people making these Tiktoks and let them know you'll be including them in your videos. They should hear a Christian response to their claims from Marcia especially. She's so knowledgeable about the occult and the Word! It gives her an incredible amount of credibility. I too was caught up in the new age (yoga, astrology, yoga, numerology, cartomancy, etc.) and I'm so glad the Lord opened my eyes and saved me!
Marcia, thank you for sharing your knowledge on this! I used to be a Wiccan, then moved elsewhere under the New Age movement, before being called to follow Jesus about 14 years ago. Everything you've stated here is dead on.
I like how she explained the difference between the oils. I use some, carefully. I listened to a dermatologist who recommended switching to defused oils, to research them, and use them properly. For skin care and other health benefits. He stated it’s much safer, and effective. It’s interesting to learn obviously the better option is in the Bible.
Make sure you guys understand the immaculate conception. It's not about the incarnation. It's about claiming Mary is completely sinless. Also, if we are going to talk about Moses & Aaron, and the signs they demonstrated, we also need to explain why Pharaoh's magicians were able to replicate some of signs.
Thank you for this teaching. Teachings like this are so important today because we I can be redeemed and know the gospel; but if I don't know what signs to look for in regards to witchcraft, the devil can have his way with the young women in my family! If it weren't for ex witches speaking on these matters I wouldn't know what sage and crystals are 🤷🏾♀️ Now I know... The more you know; the better.
I love this content...I've felt a disconnect from Christ, I can't put a finger on why, except covid. I can't physically attend church regularly because of weakened immune. It's not the same listening online...but this content has reignited my flames of faith...thank you so much for all these videos I use essential oils...only in my diffuser....makes my house smell really nice...and...eucalyptus oil in a diffuser, really helps with a cold..lol
Right it's the intent that matters. I do some arm strengthening moves for UE body strength that's weight bearing and also some back stretches. These may look like yoga postures but aren't. We still use oils, natural herbs, body stretches for our own use as God made these things and our bodies to move. Just cuz these evil people adopt some of these doesn't mean we as Christians can no longer use them.
this was a great interview! thank you brother Jeremiah and Andrew for this. SO informative and reproving. Thanks for clarifying so much of the confusion people have. I really appreciate this episode. I learned some new things as well.
True and many Catholics don't know this. I didn't even realize this teaching until I was a table leader for cc'd confirmation classes. Also former Catholic here!
As a side issue, both the first TikTok-er and our host confuse "immaculate conception" with "virgin birth". Immaculate conception is the (utterly unbiblical) Roman Catholic teaching that *Mary* was conceived without original sin.
Where does the Bible state the Mother of God was NOT saved from original sin at her conception? Going by the totally unBiblical theory of sola scriptura, which all nonCatholics must do, I challenge anyone to disprove the dogma of the Immaculate Conception.
These witches act like witches all over the world are just walking on water and feeding 5000 people, and healing lepers! Like it’s so normal that Jesus just did that 😂🤦🏽♀️
Right?! Show me the passage where Jesus is massaging auras, staring at crystals, ddancing around with pentagrams, and burning sage. Like where are all the tic tocs of these witches walking on walker, healing real visible diseases and deformities, physically raising people from the dead?
On the second one the most obvious refutation is “because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.” Romans 1:25 ESV She’s literally saying they worship the creation as if that’s Christian.
Loved this-thanks! I believe God used those specific gifts from the Magi to represent Jesus as our King(gold), our High Priest(frankincense), and myrrh because Jesus is our Sacrifice(it was used to anoint the dead).
Good talk! My 37 year old son seems to have been embracing New Ageism. He was brought up Christian but his wife wasn't. His wife is supposedly a Christian now but she's used crystals for protection, sage, astrology, etc. Her mother has mentioned spirit guides but not to me but in front of my husband. I'm fearful for my grandsons.
I don't think the world will ever realize the only religion of peace is biblical Christianity. No other, freedom isent so free when you lead a life of bondage. God bless all who seek his kingdom, happy his hand was over you for protection.
I'm learning about the difference between energy and essence in The Orthodox Church. Important lost concepts in the west Essence/Energy and Nature/Person distinction which I need to learn and understand!
It’s sad to see women desperately search for a way to feel special while simultaneously running from the special person God made them to be. In my limited experience that is at the heart of the new age and Wiccan pursuit, these things give people (mostly women) a way to feel special, like they have special powers or abilities. Seeing them give up their potential for such a limited and sad reality is depressing.
@@stephancruzhoward3158 absolutely not. Magic is an attempt to control God and MAKE him give us things. Prayer is asking God and leaving it up to his will to decide, acknowledging that it’s in his control, not ours. Prayer isn’t about getting wishes granted. It’s presenting a request to the king of the universe with the acceptance that he might say “no” or “not now”
@@Window4503 thats the same thing as magic our "Wishes" Arent always granted eaither what we call magic is our form of prayer we happen to just use ingrediants to point in the direction we want to go we arnt controling a deity and if you think that then you god is weak to you...
I always assumed the unforgivable sin was dying without ever believing in the power of the holy spirit, which would mean you don’t accept Christ’s sacrifice either.
Recently learned that theologians classify things coming from God as Supernatural and things coming from created beings or creatures like demons as preternatural.
I don't agree with every biblical interpretation here but great talk and refute of these very confused individuals. Good work guys 🙏 Fast and pray for them. God bless!
What exactly is so humorous about witches, witchcraft, divination that this Lady would laugh and giggle throughout while giving her thoughts on these subjects?
Just a side note, immaculate conception is about Mary’s birth and that Jesus “saved” her from the taint of sin. (Roman Catholicism) I think what the tik toker meant and what was referred to in the video was Jesus’ virgin birth.
@@haa729 The problem is these people also act and theoretically function in the real world outside of TikTok. Although I often wonder who much of what we are seeing on TikTok (which I’m not on so probably only see the extreme crazy stuff) is all just a show and then the people wipe off their weird makeup put on some slacks and a nice shirt and go to their job at the bank or local Starbucks.
The first lady literally just blasphemed the Holy Spirit, the same unforgiveable sin the Pharisees made. *Edit: See this is why it is good to watch the whole video before commenting, I said what what was already said in the video as I continue to watch it.
Yes, the "Immaculate Conception" refers to Mary, as being born without original sin for the purpose of being the God-man bearer (as would be fitting for the Incarnation), a status given to Mary from God's pure grace alone, a "prevenient" grace coming from Jesus's redemptive graces merited at Calvary, not to be confused with the doctrine of the "Virgin Birth" that refers to Jesus and his birth from an all pure virginal mother through the sole power of God.
Cultish recently did a video on psychedelics, it was such a bad video on taking a stand biblically Ive gotten so many in comments that think doing psychedelics is scripture based. And were affirmed by the video. Really would have liked cultish to have warned the dangers of psychedelics biblically instead of leaving room for it to be okay.
Amen. It's a little odd that every once in a while they seem soft on certain things or don't seem to sum up a solid stance. We need solids. No jellyfishing.
@@jeremycbarnhart2305 sound doctrine is needed 🙏 Here I sit 2 month's later getting comments on why psychedelics are from god. Because cultish mocked that segment and didn't take a biblical stance. They will be known by their fruits God bless
Things aren’t always so “solid”. something in moderation may be beneficial while excess is intoxicating. Like using “psychedelics” as a back door into the spirit realm is obviously witchcraft/rebellion. This can apply to any medicine. On the other hand if micro doses of the same substance can bring psychological/emotional healing for trauma victims then it’s obviously a good thing and all good things come from God. Intention and proper use seems to be the solid principle in scripture when it comes to most sin. It even applies to killing and deceiving.
@@seeqr9 intention is a new age thought God gave us scripture on how to live and stay in his will Stay sober minded, no drunkenness, no lust And much more. I walked that one foot in the world and with God it doesn't work. This is one area you cant say will just a little lsd, dmt, mushrooms ...these are mind altering drugs dont lie to yourself I had cptsd and God was my healer
Wow, that second girl was extremely annoying. And what she said, she literally advocated for idolatry. Any worship that is not towards God is idolatry. Great job guys, love the podcast! I will keep you all in prayer!
He doesn't need worshippers. He desired them. He wanted to create a being that would love and worship him freely, and that he could partner with to build the world into something great and wonderful. You might say, why would we worship him freely? Because he's just the best. He literally made all things, and made them good. Because his nature is good. He also created humans and doesn't force us to love him and follow his ways of doing things. Of course because of that, humans tend to do things their own way, and the world is like it is now. Plus, now we all die. Because death is the payment that we get, in exchange for our lawlessness. But then he didnt leave us there. He made a way for all humans who want to, to be reunited with him and his plan to fix this whole place up. That's why God came down and wrapped himself up in a body to become both fully God and fully man. He lived a life fully following God's law and gave his own life in exchange for our lawless lives. He died, was buried, and was raised from the dead, because death had no claim on him. Now he offers to wipe out the debt that our sin has accumulated once and for all, so long as we confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead. When that happens and we repent (ask God for forgiveness, and turn away from) from our lawless ways, the bible says we become new creations. And we will live out the rest of eternity glorifying God, and enjoying him forever. Why did God need worshippers? He doesn't need anything. But He most certainly deserves them.
@@brentedwards8798 He is a creative being. He creates because of who he is, not to make up for some sort of lack. How do you equate creating to a perceived lack of personal perfection?
God is morally perfect. He makes no wrong judgements. He doesn't let anything slip through the cracks. And he doesn't ever break character. What he is, is what he always is (just, merciful, creative, loving, faithful, etc) today, tomorrow, and forever. He created the world to work in the order of his moral perfection, but he allowed for the free will of humans to ignore his instructions and despise his company, if they so chose. Which they did. Then he redeemed humanity through Jesus Christ, God in man. Creating something to work within the system of his perfect moral law doesn't make him immoral, or insubstantial as God.
In Revelation when Christ returns and ‘every eye sees him’ I believe that everyone will be healed of blindness, physical disabilities of all kinds so that in accordance with his word in Romans we will be without excuse.
Mary did do one thing to evoke the Incarnation - she said "Yes" to God's will conveyed to her through the angel's message. God does not force Mary against her free will.
It's not about Christian rituals or symbols; rather, Christianity states "God's will be done" (practitioner bends his will and submits his life to God), whereas witchcraft states, "My will be done" (practitioner needs to bend reality to his/her own will, to be their own God, often in a desperate fear-based need to find control in one's disordered life).
What does Marcia think about deliverance ministries? I'm so sad about how "experts" shy away from much-needed help with people in huge battles in warfare."People are not our enemies." What does that even mean as the Bible tells us clearly to LOVE OUR ENEMIES? We don't love Satan as she said Satan is our enemy.
@@repperofchrist9761 Yes, I have a clear understanding that Satan is a spirit. Marica said, "People are not our enemies," However, scripture teaches that we are to love our enemies (who can be people) and that lines up with what you've stated - it teaches physical love.
I'm very late but I sure get you on the "enemy" thing! That's worth looking into. .. But on the warfare I recommend RU-vid channel Critical Issues Commentary, They did a series on warfare...very helpful sound teaching.
The poor decieved witch on tick tock and her conflation; our emphasis on spiritual warfare as Christians, saying that we want to "end" them. Loving them and wanting to get them saved means we want to "end" them. Wonderful.
The video misstates the doctrine of the Incarnation of Jesus and the Virgin birth. Yes, the Holy Spirit overpowered Mary as a supernatural act, but the baby in Mary's womb was not just like any other human baby in every other woman's womb. Rather, Jesus did not just possess a human nature in Mary's womb; he also possesses the Divine nature of God. Hence, Jesus is one person with two natures - one supernatural and one natural. This hypostatic union of the two occurs only in the incarnated (God made man) person of Jesus.
St. Matthew 12:31, KJV re: blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. I perceive that until the Holy Spirit came into the world the Lord traveled through the country imploring the children of Israel to believe the prophecies revealed in him. I also believe that he zealously urged the Pharisees to accept the prophecies of him as Caiphas directed that they do.
Gold, frankenscence and myrh were also used in alchemy and divination. The Magi might have been giving up their tools as well as giving the King appropriate gifts.
There's a lot of confirmation bias going on in this conversation. Nothing written in the bible can be used as evidence in a true argument as valid evidence now if you want to use confirmation bias as the base of support where is your argument? But a good video and certainly conversation...
The Magi brought Jesus gold frankincense and murr. Gold is for kings, frankincense is burnt for God and murr was for the burial. Signifies He is God King and was to die.
The one dark gothic chick...wow, what a way to take things completely out of context. :( I see spiritual warfare as fighting against Satan and how he might try to lure us back in. We need to stay in the word and in contact with God to better defend against it.
I know these people are lost and don't even know Jesus, and as it says they think they are wise but become fools in their own eyes, she has no idea about the frankincense, which was a scent and magi were pagan but Joseph wasn't he was a Jewish but just realise that these people don't know any better and I pray they find Jesus Christ alone through faith🙏🇬🇧💗
Funny how the witches try to compare what they do to how Jesus performed miracles because he is God in the flesh, that’s the original lie thinking they can be like God!
I enjoyed this and learned a lot. I do have a question. Does anyone reach out to these people and try to help them understand or is this shared with them? In particular I am concerned about the person that was wanting to become a witch but was also a Christian. It's really sad to see people so misguided, and leading other people to the same destruction, because they are being deceived.
The person that was wanting to become a witch? Witch one lol? They all claimed to be Christian witches except one whom said she heard these things from so called Christian witches.
watching these videos. the statements are just to broad. obviously it's TikTok and you can't explain alot in 30 seconds. which makes you wonder. is it even worth discussing, if you can't explain it thoroughly. alot of the issues seem to stem from definitional, , categorical , ECT.
