Good content, but I wish you guys would’ve focused more on how to actually talk to them: how to address the gentile issue, deity of Jesus, salvation apart from works of the law.

It seems that they’re exploiting the tendency among believers to perceive Jesus as conforming somewhat to their culture. Yes, the white Jesus is a lie, but so is a Jesus who speaks King James English. The reality is that we have no reference point for perceiving Jesus as he is; because none of us has seen nor heard the living Jesus. The best we can do is to know the Scriptures; and in doing so, we gain the image of Christ as God has ordained that we perceive. And that image transcends race, culture, and language.

The guy in the third reference video needs to be more consistent. Is he going to use metaphors where is he gonna take things literally? Is it the scriptures of Jesus in revelation, revelation not revelations, it’s singular not plural, is he gonna take things literally or is he going to go with the poetic language? Plus, it doesn’t matter to us what he looks like. That’s not the point in the Gospels. Never has that been the point of the Gospels. And he comes to people for all people, but not all people will accept.

This guy in the first reference video is painful to listen to.
