カルチャージャパンシーズン2 エピソード9 #アニメの作り方。JC STAFFに潜入
Danny once again has Amiami's 'Sekai no YUMI' in his office as a special guest for some interesting discussions. He then visits the JC Staff offices to find out exactly how anime is made - from the drawing and coloring of the frames down to the final check of the episode. After watching this you might even be able to make some anime of your own!

Hmmm... Im only 16 and I've been trying my hand in animation for 6 years now, with bone animating. For the past six years its just been stickfigures (but trust me it helps amazingly). And its frame by frame animating, no tweening, no shortcuts, just hard move all nodes in all frames. In middle school, I took 2 art classes. Just last year I took a class on movie production, this year im going to take an animation class. And after that, an anatomy class. I've been practicing drawing recently in facial expressions. Body proportions, body shapes, and now im going to try and take that into animating. Tommorow, im going to try and animate a 2D animation of a head turning into another direction. And since I been playing with Maya autodesk recently, im going to try and enroll myself in a class that teaches you about 3D animating. Then get some connections with some production workers (thank god I live in Orange Country, CA) Because in all its not what you know its who you know... Then BAM. I got a broad knowledge of overall art and animating, connections with animation production, and the science of physics and anatomy. Im probably going to take Japanese in college (because japan is one of the most famous animator countries). How far do you guys think I'll make it? E: (May 4th 2018 and Sep 23rd 2018) 16 year old me would be proud. I have now worked in anime-productions and other animated-productions. Several of them in fact. The one I can name as of now is To Be Heroine. Its on crunchyroll: www.crunchyroll.com/to-be-heroine I worked in many anime-productions and have far exceeded any and all expectations my 16 year old self would ever think of. Albeit I am still regarded as a newbie and very inexperienced as of now. But things are looking exceedingly bright. I just need to put the work in and to keep up what I am doing. :) As of now, I am currently taking it a bit slow and practice more before I apply to do more jobs. But soon within a few months I'll start pushing again. :) Thanks for you all for following me through this, honestly I am still suprised some of you still stumble across this comment. E: (June 13th 2019)(I'm 21) I have now worked with JCSTAFF on One Punch Man Season 2 Episode 8 and Ep 11. Suiryu vs Monsters and Garou vs Genos ----------------------------------------------- Feel free to message me on twitter anyone who reads this. I can share experiences. ALSO TO ANIMATOR FRIENDS THAT MIGHT STUMBLE UPON THIS COMMENT IN THE FUTURE. Let the 16 year old me dream haha. twitter.com/ZucchiniJuice

I watched SAO Dubbed my first anime got to the second season in a couple of days, no dubbed version :( I really didn't want to watch it with subtitles because I thought it would ruin it but I really needed to get my fix. I prefer dubbed but subtitles aren't too and either. I've heard people say they even prefer subs because the initial voice actors portray the emotion much better then English voice actors. I suppose is preference in the end. Also if you have any info on SAO 2 Dubbed or SAO 3 I would live to hear it, I now seem to have become attached to this show :L
@MrTimoth3
@MrTimoth3 9 лет назад
iArcheRz Yeah I know what you mean, everyone in my college class hates almost all dubbed anime because they think the voice actors are awful. I don't mind but some of them get really angry at it, especially attack on titan because they changed the way a titan sounded which there was no point to since it's roar lasts for the exact same time in English and Japanese. Although a few agree that the bleach dub is pretty decent.
@ex0duzz

No, that's normal. Everyone hates dubs.. Except for a few series/movies, like cowboy bebop or ghost in the shell etc, all the classics have decent dubs since they are/were huge titles

I can't believe how much work is put into it. I thought most of it was digital by now, even the drawings. I didn't realize it was still scanned. I'd have thought they were doing the drawings on the computer as well. I tried scanning my drawings a long time ago, but there was too much detail when I move on to the coloring. Now I realize why they scan at such a low resolution (144 DPI).

This answered so many questions I couldn’t otherwise find in the usual google search. I didn’t know the coloring software they used was called Retas Studio (PaintMan) and from the same company Clip Studio Paint comes from, Celsys. Thank you for answering the question of how they go from pixelated lines to smooth lines after coloring! I wasn’t sure if they did the lineart twice (pixelated and smooth) or just used a special filter.

i think the reason behind a very good anime would be based on the number of animators and artist in the studio. the larger the number of workers, the fewer work per person so they would have enough time to really show awesome details. Most poor related anime comes from smaller studios with few members who work in a short limited time and sometimes makes their work shobbie GREAT WORK to all MANGA studios who make this world EXCITING

@@cardking5191 Not really actually, shojo isn't the right word to refer to them. They have adapted a lot of romance comedy anime over the years, though.

In pretty much the same fashion animation had been handled before the advent of digital ink and paint. Basically animators put all the moving parts on celluloid paper (cels are transparent sheets) using grease pencil or something similar and those sheets would be laid over the backgrounds and shot under a camera, a frame at a time. The cels would be painted on the reverse side using paint as to not mess up the pencil work. Editors would then clip and splice the filmstrips to put it all together.

The man who's holding the camera doesn't stop whispering "hai hai hai" and making little noises like he's moaning, this is disturbing and harms the great video.

its very rude in Japan to not respond like that when people are teaching you something; otherwise, they assume you are not listening.

Alex Soto well, I can't get photoshop right now... Gimp is good enough, can do most things I'd do with photoshop, clean up, etc.

very interesting. Loved anime for nearly 10yrs now. Amazing how better it gets by the year with technology and inspiration. I got 100's of picks but I say the best picture for anime is the Monogatari series.
