I’ve worked in Oman for almost 8 years and then I moved to the USA because most people think and I also thought that it’s such a great country because of the opportunities. It is true, job opportunities in the US are vast but that doesn’t outweigh the safety and simplicity of life in Oman. My salary was less in Oman compared to my salary here in the US now but my life was richer in Oman. I was much happier and healthier. Alhamdulillah for what I have right now but Oman is definitely far much better.
Eyy so great to come across a Kenyan creator!! I am South African but grew up my whole life in Kenya. Currently living very far away from it and I miss the people and their values, makes me feel at home to see a channel by a Kenyan woman! I'm considering a job in Oman so it's great to see your perspective of it. Sounds like a great place.
I'm just guessing here but I think the reason the houses are painted white or beige is not because aesthetics, but because white and beige reflect sunlight pretty well (as opposed to darker colours), and therefore the buildings' walls don't heat up that much.
Oman has become my adopted country. I fell in love with the country within the 1st week of arrival. In Summer I flee South to my country's Winter, because 50°C is unbearable. For the rest, I don't ever want to live in another country (my birth country included) for the rest of my life. I love Oman!
U are quite correct my Sister.Certain things in my Country,Nigeria are similar to dat of your country. The gap between d rich & d poor is too outrageous.God have mercy on wicked African leaders.
Actually, very few Omanis now speak fluent Swahili. The Omanis who returned from East Africa after the accession of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos were never sufficiently concentrated to maintain the language. Their children were, to a certain extent, Swahili/Arabic bilinguals in domestic settings, but their grandchildren have switched from Swahili to English.
Actually kenya is driving on the wrong side of the Rd when I first came to Kenya that was shocking to me. Usa your next door country somalia and many many more of the world including Germany are driving the right side of the rd.
If USA keeps right hand side while driving doesn’t mean every country has to follow that, Kenya doesn’t drive on the wrong side but keeps left because steering is on the right side.
Hello 👋🏾 that’s a great job you can get coz locals don’t do. I’ll ask them how they got and get back to you. Make LinkedIn your friend you’ll get a job. Try to check Oman broadband website, Ooredoo Oman careers, Omantel careers, Awasr careers.

Hehehe yes that’s correct, when I arrived from the Airport I thought driver was on the wrong side until I realized In Oman we keep right side not left.

I was given a job offer recently as a doctor. General practiioner in Oman. They include" free accommodation" when they say free accommodation, is it usually a shared room with someone else? 😅. What is the usual average rent price 1 bed room fully furnished in oman if u dont mind me asking. Thank u so much. Learning so much from ur videos
Hello there, ooh really! Why would a GP share accommodation😅😅😅 they shouldn’t do that! How about you request allowance you get your own? I think a room with attached bathroom would be between 150-180 rials 1 bedroom flat from 180 OMR but depends with location. I’m glad my videos have helped. Thank you😍😊
@JackiejmVlogs thank u for your quick reply. I didn't say the accomodation will be shared, I was only asking a question, IF, it will be shared? Haha. Thank u so much for the details.
Good afternoon, could you tell me how you managed to get a job as a doctor in Oman and if it is difficult? My girlfriend just got her medical degree in Belarus. Do you speak Arabic or English?
Hello there, I know ladies working here for many years in houses and they're okay, however people might have different experiences but Oman protects both employees and employers as long as you follow the law nothing to worry about.
Im an applicant now in oman as a domestic helper or household worker, im still waiting for an employer to select me...i hope and pray that i could find one so i could go and work in oman ♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏
Hello . I Want To Know About The Benifits Of Starting Own Business In Oman . 2nd I Want To Know How Many Countries We Can Go Without Visa On Omani Id Card Or Omani Residency ?
I don't understand your shock for the afternoon nap. We in Italy do the same and also we close our business for a couple hours after lunch, and so the same in Spain and other countries of south Europe.
Hello there, Because I’m from Kenya🇰🇪 we don’t do afternoon nap hence culture shock. Of course on your side it would not count as a culture shock because you do the same in Italy.
@@JackiejmVlogs Hi dear. My point was that I wouldn't be "shocked" by something that is very common in so many countries. But I got your point. Cheers
Most Nigerians I know are teachers, in hospitality etc and yes its not easy to get a job so you need extra effort and not to give up, if some are getting you can get it too
@@JackiejmVlogs Ma I mean male not female with o level/ secondary school results... they can’t find company work or any affordable work there::: that’s will pay them well
What about single women or single women parents moving to Oman. Is this doable? Is it illegal and you can be arrested like in some other middle eastern countries?
Hello there, you get teaching jobs in Oman by applying direct on schools websites, check a video my video Top 30 jobs you can easily get in Oman, Teaching job is included with steps how to apply.
Hi , Thanks for your all videos very helpful. I recently got a job in oman and they are offering 2000 OMR per month. Do you think its enough that I can enjoy life and do my savings too?
This one that's talking now, I have somebody in Oman for the pass five months, looking for work still til today no work ooo, okay let me connect the person to her so she can help him with work, then I will believe that
Why come to Oman without a job? You should apply in your home country to be safe. It’s not guaranteed immediately you’ll get a job. However there’re so many reasons people don’t get job check a video I made about reasons you might not get job in Oman it can help. And in the video I did not mention I’m connecting people with jobs
My sister no work for black people in Oman, the problem we're having is the agent's because tham will tell they have secured a job for you, and when you get they there's no job, then you start looking for job your self, and that is not easy
@@OghenekevwPatrick-lp7wm I understand you, most agents are not genuine they only want money from you. Instead of using agents why not apply direct to companies and it’s free. If you get its okay if you don’t you’ve nothing to lose because you’re still in your country.
@@OghenekevwPatrick-lp7wm Employment visas are not processed by individuals. If you get a job companies process the visa for you free. People should do research otherwise agents will con them. Anyways all the best where you’re searching ❤️❤️
