Cummins Falls is a awesome place to hike into. Beautiful Scenery on the way to the falls. Above the falls, downstream of the falls, and of course at the falls. The hike down the slopes wasn't to bad. Had some slick spots in the mud and lots of slick spots in the stream below the falls themselves. Overall an awesome experience for this amateur hiker. How’s the hike down to get to the falls? Would it be too steep to take a 3 year old?

There were people there that had young kids. I would think it would be a very long hike for them. The parents would more then likely do alot of carrying. If you took your young ones I would def go early. Once you descend down to the creek you have a pretty good hike over some rough terrain to get to the falls themselves
