They actually agreed on more than you'd think unfortunately. Obama continued expanding America's policies of assassinating foregin nationals in the name of national security. He also extended the Patriot act of memory serves. Obama loved drone strikes and was even know to drone strike American citizens abroad if they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Trump followed suit similarly. Obama was also very much a corporate democrat. More left than say Joe Biden or Nancy Pelosi but hated by real progressives.
