@@blueberry7899 it would have been better if you phrased it "simply because it isn't true", that would have been closer, but as you've obfuscated the phrase, you're probably in on the conspiracy!
Stop gaslighting us into thinking it was "because it's simply not true" We were all there and we saw her say "simply because it isn't true" Shame on you. Sincerely, -project veritas Ps this might be my favorite joke I've ever said
I think you missed the message. None of it was ridiculous. Covid was and still is a deadly disease and long Covid is now going to disrupt the already laboured hospitals and transport industry. Noticed how your delivery is now delayed? Truck drivers are coming down with Covid.
Aw, well edited for pace, but cut my favorite line, “Next time someone buys a virus they better read the fine print, because I’m not going through this again.”
"Some people said that we should do what other countries in Europe are doing. But we couldn't see what they were doing cause they were all indoors" FUCK that killed me
It's like the Leslie Nielsen style of "Sorry for arriving late, Mrs Twice. We would have arrived earlier, but your husband wasn't dead then." Deadpan brilliant delivery.
I love how she says something really thought provoking, and you think, "You know, she's not really that stupid", and then she totally trashes it by coming out with something utterly moronic.
I haven't seen this for a year, I've been self-isolating and my mate's brother said you can pass the lurgy just by switching your computer on. Anyway, after a year it turns out it's even funnier.
I have found her silliness in the past to just be silly. But this WAS EXCELLENT, and given the time it was made it was a public service! I have to radically change my views on Cunk for the better. Thank you for making this and Thank you the the ever underappreciated BBC.
All conspiracy theories are anti semitic if you go deep enough who do you think is covering up the flat earth yeah they are who do you think the lizard people are yeah they are who are they the jew see
@@donxx1206 It's so strange how a ton of groups face oppression but the one oppressed group that seems to be used for every conspiracy theory is Jewish people. I don't know why they're chosen specifically. My only guess is maybe it's because certain oppressive stereotypes make it seem like Jewish people have power. Like that stereotype of Jewish people being rich or something. But it's still so weird how (I think) I've never heard a conspiracy theory about any other oppressed group.
@@Mcwollybob partly they gave Christianity the entire "Old Testament", which overwhelms the Gospels, as pieces of literature, anyways. Jesus brings the "baggage" of Jewish history. If you really want to hear non-Jewish conspiracy theories, you can go to India, Southeast Asia, etc, but wherever Christianity has a major presence, (therefore places English, Spanish and other Western European languages dominate) there is an existential insecurity about the Jewish people. And of course in Muslim societies, which can trace their faith to Abraham's son Ishaq (Isaac), while his other son Ismael (Ishmael) carried on the Jewish tradition. It's a similar, although not exactly the same, dynamic.
@@Mcwollybob We have always been the scapegoats. We wash for ritual purity, which means we have better hygiene and therefore suffered less from plagues and other epidemics, which lead to accusations of Jews poisoning wells. Then there's the issue of the Christians and Muslems both claiming to be the new chosen people but the only problem is that the original Abrahamic practitioners won't go away and always seem to thrive, which is kind of against what they're preaching. After all, why would G-d bless those whom He supposedly discarded? This leads to resentment. Then, there's the whole 'wealthy Jew' and 'misery Jew thing.' For much of European and Arabic history, the Jews were ostracized for not being Christian/Muslem. In the Christian countries, they weren't allowed to own property, hold official positions, and were barred from many professions. This stuck them in trade and loans. Money-lenders make money from interest, which means that the Jews would be resented because everyone owed them money. But that was all that was open to them. When the resentment built up enough and the church made enough of their libel sermons, another pogrom or expulsion would occur. As for Jews being rich; some are, some aren't. My family wasn't. We were lower middle-class and moved up to regular while I was growing up. But Jews tend to be philanthropists, which means that their wealth is noticed, or simply misconstrued. There's a lot more to say about this, but it is 2am... theconversation.com/american-jews-and-charitable-giving-an-enduring-tradition-87993
I wish I'd seen this video earlier, I think I was just lucky that I happened to avoid pubs in England during the pandemic. I did sell a fair few pints of Mad Cow lager though when I was last there in the 90s. Cheers from Australia!

Just watching Icke there and I'm sure he briefly let his true lizard self show for a fraction of a second. Also, his right hand looks very duck-billed-platypus-like.
