Cupecoy Beach in St. Maarten / St. Martin - March 2009 - during the Heineken regatta (in my opinion the best time to be on the island!). This beach is located on the Dutch side of the island just above the casino area. It is very clean, beautiful, and quiet. On one part, there were some, older, nude beach goers which were able to avoid easily. ;)
You can find local barbecue right alongside the beach along with a small beachwear vendor. Some chairs and umbrellas are available for rent there.
New buildings, marina, and luxury residences are currently undergoing construction in this area.
