I’ve learned that you can literally skip the entire octopus part by dashing over the boulder and continuing dashing every time you bounce off the water. Granted, you need like 4 or 5 health to make it all the way, but it really works.
This is the only thing I actively hate In the entire game. The octopus part is honestly just complete RNG. This video at least helped me understand the lobster
If anyone is still struggling on octopus part, if you have 4 hp and invincibility you can skip it by using it, dashing like crazy and tanking damage, you can do it on 3 hp but it's harder
@@Ddarke11 if you ever pick it back up again, one thing that really helped me with that part was literally just focusing on going up and down on the last phase and only moving forward with the tiny plane when I absolutely had to. Took me about 3 or 4 tries and beat it finally after doing it that way.
I just finished getting the p rank with smoke bomb. Made it to the end with just 1 hp. I later tried to do this again, and managed to make it through the whole level without getting hit.
FINALLY passed this level! My load-out was the Invincibility (which I powered at the beginning with all the pink fish BEFORE progressing in the level) and Lobber for primary and chaser for secondary. And 1 extra hit point since I didn't have the 2. Best advice, the Chaser is what got me through the octopus on the first try after dying a dozen times before. Hope that helps yall :)
OH!! I kept getting so far, I wasn't even doing the dash, but I kept messing up because I didn't realize you could explode the rock. I was so confused on where to go
So I got an S tank on 10 of the bosses in the game and only had a full on rage 3 times. Doing this level to get a P rank was one of them. What. The. FUCK! That clam bastard at the end and the shrimp shits can suffer a very painful death. What were they thinking? Fuck this level
I..finally.. beat it! My big tip! Chill by the stone steps and parry the pink fish till you have your special full and make sure you have invincibility special equipped along with extra health point. Think of this level as 2 sections. Before Mr Crabs and after Mr Crabs. Once you get past him it's easy, Until you get to the damn octupus. But going to him with 4 health and the invincibility special will give you the boosted confidence to beat it. I believe in you!

Every run and gun pacifist so far was not bad and I felt alright. Then I played this one and I have yet to beat it but I want to punch a hole in the wall and pull my hair out
1:50 The amount of times I dashed to finsh line and got hit is more then I can’t count absolutely hate this level I’m so happy I’m done with it and got the trophy
I gotta say, I definitely disagree about not using smoke bombs. I see why twin hearts helps, but as long as you can dodge left AND right, the octopus part should be survivable. The trick is parrying both the gem and the pink shrimps that get thrown at you. And when you dash, use it up high so you can stick your landing back on the octopus and keep going.
The way I did it was parrying off of the anchor whenever the light ball things were being shot on the bottom. I also got 5 parries so when I got to 1 HP I could just go invincible.
The fishes spawn more frequently now and makes this stage a nightmare + it makes it worse that the fish can track your vertical location and target you
Hello I’m a little stuck with the pacifist runs I would beat them with ms chalice and sometimes get the P rank and other times it gives me a B rank instead of P is there any tips or reasons for that?
@@OnnieMbappe Hey I think I know what might of happened when I tried to get the P rank. If you use the genie guy to increase your health I think that might stop you from getting the rank but you could still use ms.Chalice to get the rank. I stopped using the genie guy and the game started to give me the P rank, I hope this helps somehow.
If youre really bad at the octopus part like me, stock up on a super by waiting for pink fish in the beginning. And use invinicility right before u get hit on the octopus
Bro I literally done all levels P rank but this shit is fucking impossible these flying dumb ass fish are driving me nuts and the octopus part? Dont even get me started on that stupid ass part I died there like 5 times because these fucking shrimp are going crazy like how am I supposed to dodge this shit Don't get me wrong I love this game but this challenge is just stupid
