Cuphead : How to Get P Rank Rugged Ridge Run and Gun Level

Ugh I HATE this level

It’s so cute how the baby Grim Matchsticks hold their horns when they spit out fire!

I just jumped on the edge of the goat with the hammers. Their hit box doesn’t take up the full platform.

You can actually jump over all the enemies in the first section by dodging their axe and jump dashing over them which I found to be alot easier. The only part that screws me over is the elevator and parrying over the shield walls.

I hate this level with a burning passion.You need the smoke bomb to even get close,but you also need the twin hearts to actually be able to survive this level.I love this game and all but this level was a huge mistake imo

One advice if u r struggling, use coffee charm and invincibility super 2, just wait at the beginning fill ur meter use super just dash, get to safe zone again fill ur meter then dash repeat this process,for elevator part dodge and have one super ready for it if needed, after that stay in safe zone fill ur meter get to first pink wall use super and get to the top of the wall again fill ur meter, jump down use ur super to get pass lion and jump over the wall, again fill ur meter for Cyclops section, there u go BRAVO, it's time consuming but u only need to do it once better than hours of frustrations and rage. My method took 16 minutes but I finally earned the pacifist trophy 😍

The one where there's a tiny gap to stand on yeah on one of my runs the gap wasn't there. It's genuinely disgusting how luck based this game is.

This is brilliant! Great guide.

Here's a tip: Use the spread to shoot the first circling fireball (They're immortal so you won't kill them) to build up your super meter. If you position yourself right You won't get hit by the first goat's pickaxe. You can do this at any circling fireball. You now have a full super meter to use immortality wherever you need (I recommend the first lion rock thing.) Hope this helps! P.S. This won't always work, depending on where the second goat spawns, So you'll have to reset until he's somewhere where he can't hit you.

I made it in another way with coffee and super II and that made me easier to pass the laughing walls cuz im bad at parrying those xd

Finally after so long i got the pacifist and black and white YEEEEEEES THANK YOU SO MUCH

Every time I attempt this I always end up with 1 HP at the troll section…Every…Single…Time

This is the only level I have trouble getting a pacifist on

I died so many times and all of a sudden i complete it without getting hit

You can jump onto the platforms that the rats are on and jump and dash over them

Whenever you don't need to use weapons to beat this you know you are good lol

Parrying including pairing enemies does not count as killing them so you can Parry all you want in running guns and still get a P rank.

For the last goat before the elevator sometimes it takes up the front space of the platform meaning you get hit either way

You can land on all the platforms that the prospectors are on. There's enough room

I played the stage a single time (I don't like the run and gun stages) and decided I wasn't going to keep dealing w the annoying enemies in this one.

The satyrs in this level are the biggest pain in the ass

Cuphead's biggest myth Is it possible to kill the fireball in this stage No like I'm actually serious they flash but can they be killed

There's one thing that people are noticing if you have the charge gun you can one shot the goats in the stage and one hit along with the mud monsters on the bridge thingy

nah, i’ve tried this with no resoult and then beat it with smoke bomb that’s kind of stupid that you can dash through the enemies, but still trying to avoid them lmao

It is actually much easier with the charge shot and smoke dash

Why every time when I try to jump over the wall, a satyr comes and it ruins the cycle and I manage to take 1 or 2 hits

for me id use the dash skill to make everything faster.. it takes skill to speedrun run n gun levels but I got used to it

The miner before the first lion is the most annoying

This is the last level I have to P-Rank. I don't know will it be harder than Perilous Piers but Perilous Piers was actually hellish to P-Rank.

If you have the dlc use divine relic

For those having problems on the last part of this, you have to spam the dash button. He doesn't tell you that. If you don't put distance between you and the one eyed monster he'll contact you and you will constantly die. Dash dash dash. Took me multiple deaths to pass this.

I found this the easiest to P rank along with Treetop Trouble. I did use the twin hearts though. The one thing I did different is that I invaded the miner's personal space and jumped on their platforms and above them instead of under.

This game is fucking brutal. Dark souls has nothing on this!

I’m gonna say this right now.....I had it harder cause my little brother wanted to play and I had no idea that it gets harder when 2 players are on.........HE KEEPS DYING WHILE I HAVE TO COMPLETE THE LEVEL BY MY SELF WITH A BAD COMPUTER
