It works pretty decently and it's an amazing car actually. Formentor was never meant for heavy and serious off-roading. For that you need Jeep Wrangler or Land Rover or Toyota Land Cruiser or similar vehicles. However, Formentor does what those cars do not and will never do - it gives performance of a sports car in a format of an SUV. Formentor is a rare beast - beautiful, fast, agile, reliable and comfortable. I have a 310CV VZ2 version (and before this I've been driving all kinds of BMWs from series 3 to X5 for almost 20 years) and trust me I know what I'm talking about :)
