CUPRA Leon hybrid - what's the deal? 

Lovely looking hot hatch. They have done a good job with the Cupra branding and styling. The bronze accents really set it off.

That color and body is stunning, very beautiful. The car is nice too.

Anna, you really crack me up! "only 1%, where did it all go wrong?".. overall pretty good hatchback considering the price. Great cinematography.. the birdseye view. I'm sure we probably won't see those cars in the states. The only thing I noticed is the dark interior colour. I'm sure that would get hot in the summer. All the best..Ciao!

Have been driving ST from january. Exellent fuel ecomony even with zero charge. Now driven 5000km with only half tank of fuel since easter. Controls work also in cold conditions under -30C. And car is warm in arctic climate. Can run on battery 30km even under -20C. Just love this ride.

You who drive so many different cars, I marvel at these new cars in the car shops that are there to be tested and shown, are it the sellers who equip the cars and choose the color of the interior? Was about to say, that sound is like a AMG63, then you burst my bubble, synthetic!! I knew that, given it's a 1.4 battery!! Oh well. The car presents well as too Anna in her summer skirt. OMG.

Brilliant review Anna. I do like the looks of Cupra Leon and it sounds awesome even though it comes out of the speakers. The question is if an electric car had a combustion engine noise coming through the speaker would you love it or not? really surprise of MPG that it does and BHP that its got in the 1.4L engine alone and the added power of the hybrid is just wow. They definitely do the hybrid right. just brilliant. I don't know why they are doing sliders to control the volume and heating, I think I would be a master of disaster with it and might be in an accident at the same time. awesome review/video. Great review Anna, keep up the reviews!! I drove a ehybrid Golf 8 and found the 1.4 tsi engine horribly droning at 70mph on motorway in hybrid mode. Not sure this was the same?!

I love this car

Great to see Anna anytime but on a wet Sunday, even more enjoyable. Missed opportunity for a blonde joke re the overnight charge, or lack of! 1.4 petrol with a launch time that a performance car from 10 years ago would have been considered quick, now the norm. Nifty little VW Golf worrier.

The electric motor is constantly active even though the battery is empty. So no you didn't only have 150hp, you had 245. Awesome review anyway ;)

Nice car...so I looked it up and the website gives you the hard sales pitch before letting you near the configure to find out the price. Cupra wants you to pay BMW 3 Series money for a tarted up Seat...they fall and bump their head?

There's no way that does 0-62 in 6.4 seconds running the 150bhp engine alone - especially as this weighs in excess of 100kg more than the comparable 150bhp non-hybrid Seat Leon that claims (though I appreciate usually conservatively) a 0-62 of 8.5 seconds. It must have been utilising the combined 245hp
