At the NRA National Firearms Museum in Fairfax, Virginia, Director Jim Supica shows John Popp one of the least known six-guns of the West, the 44 caliber Merwin Hulbert revolver. It's the finest machined firearm of the era. Jim demonstrates its unique operating system. This first model is an open top scoop flute single action. He calls it the best made revolver of the 1870s and 1880s. Originally aired on 8/31/17.
