Because my hair loves protein my hair loves this line and the exact products you used. My hair isn't damaged but the Bond Salve apparently helps bc of its protein. I'm sold on this line and I agree with you that less is more. My hair is 2b/3a, fine, dense.

It's been a while since I've used this entire same routine, but do you ever notice when using Curlsmith curl creams/leave-in that your s5yled hair appears more stringy? I feel like I struggle with that when using Curlsmith creams and leave-ins as part of my styling routine. 😕

@@lifeoffinecurls When I realized that I was using too much styling cream, I cut WAY back on the amount. Later on I tried adding the "purple" line of foam on top of that, and this really intensified my curls. I top that off with small amount of souffle.

I saw those references too and at first thought "no, that can't be" and ignored them, but they ARE Bible verses! Now I feel terrible that I've tried and returned so many of their products because I probably didn't know what I was doing. 😵‍💫 Got crazy hair here and just now making an effort to do anything with it. Now I want to buy the products again, but I'll have to go to an Ulta one town over. I've probably been banned from the local one. 🤣

That's weird, I just looked on my bottle of the CS Bond Curl Rehab Salve, just shows some numbers, just didn't know what there were from. Mine has 141:10. I'm thinking Psalms?

@@simplycurlyde I would think, but are you sure that’s the right reference? I looked it up. Psalm 141:10 New International Version 10 Let the wicked fall(A) into their own nets, while I pass by in safety.(B) Maybe they are very serious about this salve providing safety from the perils of damaged curls, but that’s a little harsh. 😳“The wicked reach for their Pert Plus and suffer the consequences of their foolishness.” 🤣

@@melissastephanie1104 Yeah, I'm thinking that there was just a misprint on my bottle of CS Bond curl Rehab Salve. It seems like they would have the same scripture on each product line, so I think it makes sense with what Jodi read on her bottle.

At first I wasn't wild about the bond repair, but as I tried it more I have really learned to like it. Since you are transitioning your hair, it may be more beneficial for someone like you.

I just ordered that shampoo and conditioner and currently use the Shine line. I noticed with the Shine shampoo, the first wash didn't lather much. I go in and wash a second time and then get a nice lather. Maybe it's the same for this shampoo? I LOVE their protein cream and the Bond Repair Salve. I am trying their Volume Foam today and am anxious to see how it does. Have you tried that one by chance? 😊

Yes, I love the Volume Foam. It's actually in my Favorite Stylers video I did back on Dec 2021.
