Blight is the best mechanic for new and casual players imo. I don't think I've ever not made profit in even one Blighted Maps as long as I bought them for less than 10c. And they don't need a specific build.

I'm currently praying to all the gods of Wraeclast I don't choose the wrong leaguestarter. I feel like the sooner we're up and running the better on this league.

True, this will be my second league and I really enjoy the richness of the game but the fact that trading is pretty much necessary, eh...

Usually I would haggle for expensive and very specific items that have been listed for quite some time, but i wouldnt haggle for something cheap unless its overpriced or some other reason

@@MydrecaNaPopa That does make sense but for someone not deeply steeped in PoE or even just PoE trading specifically it's hard to judge what the cutoff is between "expensive" and "cheap" or if you are being ripped off. Inexperienced players are also likely to have less valuables/currency so likely have a much different view of "cheap" than those who are efficient/experienced players.

@@Chris-zg7ty I agree, usually buying early/mid game gear is pretty much waste of money imo, especially if you dont understand and dont know how much the item should cost, most of the time its cheaper to craft it by yourself and even sometimes faster, so its very important for new players to learn the basics

@@MydrecaNaPopa True. This is why I rarely trade. I usually end up quitting before I get to a stage of the game where trading would be more relevant.

As far as I understand it, you can put out a buy order for let's say, 1000 alts. It'll pull currency from your stash and inventory. Same for selling.

And that will take only 1 trading slot.

It's terrible advice. You will get blocked but also you will waste time lowballing for 30mins on a 2 div item when you could just buy it for 2div in 1 minute and make 3 div in the other 29 minutes.

You can also use deli orbs on them and run corrupted 8-mods, but it'll be interesting to see how scarabs/fragments and the atlas tree will work with them if at all. Either way, they're still good passive income to get off of trash maps that you don't want to run yourself.

Currency is crafting materials, thats all currency. But ya everything stackable can be sold on the market

currency is anything that isn't gear/equipable. maps are currency.

@afscrew123 I have not seen them demonstrate this on the video.. all I see are the currency from the currency stash tabs. I know there are all sorts of currency especially from the bulk trading section of ggg trading platform.

basic league start gear that is cheep, will become 20 times the price easy. half the factor i stopped playing path of exile all together, other half is im waiting on poe 2

Console market is expensive cus theres literally nobody trading on it.

As far as I know console is separate server from the PC version and I think it already has an 'auction house'.

That's a good question whether we can edit listings without having to withdraw.

They mentioned that once you made an order it's final, you can't change it - you will have to cancel it and lose all the gold. Personally I think this is a good thing,

Problem is youre making an assumption based on virtually no info on gold distribution. We have zero idea of how much gold well be generating in T16's and generally no one is bulk buying or selling before reaching T16's and 4 void stones. If were making several hundred thousand per T16 map on average, gold costs literally wont matter at that point as long as youre playing the game.

@@omegacloud222 even if it's going to be, say, 2 million gold per map. that means if u use it on AH for trading, you cannot use it for other stuff. as long as there are trade-offs no one will bother paying that scaling cost. it is that simple. more gold means more gambling opportunities with faustus. when people refuses to pay that much gold per 1 unit of trash tier currency, this is what is going to happen. they will go and pick them from trade site no matter the cost no matter the frusturation. and the average joe who has been farming shit ton of alts or alchs will list his bulk currency and ask for 1c per x ratio. this means that the average joe must also pay a huge gold cost per 1c which is 225 gold per chaos orb unit - if you have watched the video. the avrage joe's gold is deducted from him. poof. gone. and his listing will rot there over time. people will undercut that average joe and it will never be bought in bulk cuz why? the buyer does not want to pay the gold cost for that much currency. when shit doesnt sell and he needs to readjust his price what's he gonna do? he's gonna pay that much gold per chaos orb he wants again. the current system is only useful for early league. people will funnel their various bubblegum currency into chaos orbs and that's it. end of AH after first week.

@@mericgencturk Why would I ever be buying random gear from faustes if I am looking at buying hundreds to thousands of a currency? For the first time ever I will be looking at actually crafting BECAUSE of this auction house. Screw messaging 47 people to buy 15 essences. You make so many damn assumptions in your post its clear you just want to hate it.

@@mericgencturk You clearly dont understand how much bubblegum currency crafters use. Once crafters start making their mirror tier gear, i wouldnt be surprised if we start seeing some crazy inflation on some currencies before they settle again. Im pretty sure some crafters burn 50-75k alts just to get a base item started and i can see waaaaay more people doing crafting now with this system.
