I was sad when they split. They always seemed perfect for one another. I think if was too much loss and they couldn't support one another through it all. I think the loss of young Dean was just more than they could cope with. But, I think the love never died and they were still very close! It's had to believe that all these wonderful entertainers are gone.
Jeanne is the most beautiful Lady in Hollywood. She is the most dedicated women ever known. We all could use her as an example. A private, strong Lady. God Bless Her.💝💝💝

Poor Jeanne lost her husband one daughter and 2 sons before she died. A very strong and beautiful woman. Could have easily been a Hollywood Star had she wanted it.
Dean and Jeannie.... Dean and Jerry awesome!!! The first wife Betty with the two families together made good memories! So it sounds as if Dean had a third wife when he and Jerry came to make up, I will never forget them singing together again.
Every one of those kids acted like they were suppressed. Not a one could look at the camera it's obviously all set for the cameras and Dino Jr expresses that he's unrecognized and unappreciated by saying he likes to sing but nobody likes to hear him sing. And then as we know he died in an airplane crash later in life. Sad
Gail was a natural. The camera loved her and she was really the only one that could sing. Don’t know what happened to her. She put out a couple singles I think. Dean jr wasn’t a very good singer.
James Bacon was one of the best Hollywood reporters. He knew everything about everybody!! He said he had a casual affair with Marilyn Monroe and I believe it. He knew all of the secrets of that town. He wrote an interesting book, (skipping over a few details because it was a necessity that he do so), called "Hollywood is a Four Letter Word". If he was free to speak today, man, the stories he could tell and would tell. Still, his stories are interesting and REVEALING as they are.
The name Jeanne is the French spelling of Jean and pronounced the same, but because there is an 'e' on the end of it, most end up pronouncing it "Jeannie" and I've dealt with that my whole life, with the exception of my parents. Old-time French actress Jeanne Moreau, and U.S. actress Jeanne Cooper were known by the correct pronunciation (no audible 'e' on the end) but few get it right today.
