Dr. Seheult has numerous videos regarding the whole covid issue. I absolutely agree with his stance on sunshine, good nutrition, mobility, supplements, etc. As an old retired RN, I have seen the results of poor nutrition, lack of mobility, polypharmacy, etc. Each person is responsible for their health. I’ve seen those who researched their disease/injuries/medications and kept up on new information, this knowledge helped them to make valued changes, decisions and they had better outcomes than those patients who basically had no clue about their disease/injury/medications. What is good for one person, doesn’t mean it is good for another. Do your research, ask questions and make your own decision on what is best for you. Life is full of choices. It’s your body and the only one you have, take care of it.

Yeah, Dr. Marik, Dr. Kory, the late Dr. Zelenko and Dr. McCullough as well as the front line doctors were right out there on round 1, March, 2020 sharing their protocols that worked. As a RN working frontline in a clinic setting, their protocols kept me from illness. Research is key.

I am a 79 yo infectious diseases pharmacist who had made plans on retiring mid-2020 when our pharmacy residents had finished for the year. Then SARS-CoV-2 interrupted my plans. I'm finally going to retire this November. I have recommended many of Dr. Seheult's lectures for my residents as an opportunity to learn how to interpret clinical studies and present them in terms that the average person can understand. Thank you for your excellent videos on many topics in addition to COVID-19.

I am so, so glad you addressed that poorly worded statement from the CDC. When I saw how it was being used, I actually wrote to the CDC to ask them to clarify what they were saying. That was my first reaction when I read it, but despite all the criticism of the CDC, they know how to proofread. They also don't operate in a vacuum. For major policy or annoucements, they circulate things among different agency staff and even political appointees. This wasn't some deep piece nobody is paying attention to. It's a major announcement. It's implausible that no one noticed this ambiguous meaning. OK, but even if you say it was an error, they must know by now how it is being interpreted. They have historically changed web page content plenty of times. They could have fixed this by now with a simple edit on the page. Why have they chosen not to?

Thank you Amy for writing to them but I'm really shocked at how the CDC are handling this. That poorly worded statement caused such a disturbance on social media and was such a precious gift to anti-vaxxers. A badly worded sentence slipped through proof reading. Regrettable but stuff happens. Mistakes can happen so I tend to judge people and organisations not only on the basis of mistakes made but I also give a lot of weight to how they react to and fix any mistakes made. I just cannot for the life of me understand how the CDC couldn't see the damage caused by this poorly worded statement and immediately issue a clear and unequivocal clarification of what it actually meant. The CDC is allowing the confusion to persist and its statement to be wilfully misinterpreted by some just because it seemingly can't be bothered to issue a clarification. Is the CDC really so disconnected with the outside world?

Campbell is deeply problematic. He exclusively covers things that inflame a very specific audience, while for instance ignoring the data on risk of infections. It’s a little disappointing to see a medcram heart here…I have zero problem acknowledging injury, it’s upsetting and real, but I want the other side of this in going nightmare acknowledged by caring, responsible medical health professionals, it’s so important for trust, or mention do no harm. Appreciate medcram in so many ways but especially for still wading into this politicized, corrupt topic at all.

You and thousands of others did get severe reactions. Next up the next batch of people that get woken up when their batch is dangerous. By the comments on here there are plenty left that still believe THEM. You should have believed US. As far as the rejab believers. When the pandemic first began, I was a prime candidate for severe illness, as I was prediabetic and obese. I discovered keto and intermittent fasting. I lost 103 pounds and reversed ALL of my issues. I've been vaccinated four times and I've had the virus on two occasions, showing symptoms no worse than a heavy cold. I took advice from this channel in 2020 regarding vitamin S (the doc stated that 1000iu of D3 would reduce the chances of a chest infection by 50% and pneumonia by 70%) so I supplement with D3, K2 and I let diet do the rest. Anybody in the high risk category should investigate keto and fasting, for a healthy reset of the immune system.

Individual risk analysis is much more pertinent now. My understanding is the new variants are more contagious but much milder. I think I just had it for a day only: dry cough, sneezing, muscle aches, slightly runny nose, low-grade to no fever. Felt like crap but it was short-lived.

Just for the record, it is basically impossible to tell if something has worked on a person, based on their outcome. I have said the same thing to people who have been v'acced, become moderately ill, and then declare that the v'acc did not work. They may have become seriously ill without the v'acc.

In a pickle. I shielded to protect my Mum for over three years. I lost her this year so I'm out and about and I may have little immunity...I've only had one cold since. Tested twice and negative both times. Anyway Prof your take on Swedish study showing heart damage for 1 in 35 after mRNA vaccination. Troponin based assesment.

Just want to acknowledge what a loving, difficult choice and effort you made for your mum. Esp without a lot of societal support. It’s possible you both had infections that were asymptomatic- this thing is incredibly strange and unpredictable in how it plays out across populations. Take some comfort too in knowing that there is likely some benefit to reducing the number of infections over time, especially before better antivirals and such are available. Another online resource that might help with information is twiv- esp the clinical updates with Dr Daniel Griffin YT’s. Every channel has its leanings, and frameworks, but twiv and medcram keep the widest lens so far, imo. Best to you!

@@sampal5352 thank you. but i did mistakes. i think some were huge mistakes. but I didn't have anyone looking over me much to say 'hey i think you had better do xyz'. I did try hard. I even fell asleep feeding her once I was so tired. my weight went 85kg to under 60kg because I wasn't eating, my Mum took so much time. but all the time i wonder about my mistakes and if they hurt her. i know i made a 'forced error' and finished any hope of starting her to eat and drink again. the whole thing was terrible. The first year of just me and Mum was lovely. Then the 'care professionals' entered and it was a disaster.

@@VeronicaMist that is quite an assertion, but it is simply not true. I caught one of the omicron variants about 18 months ago as a fit 26 year old that hikes and lifts weights and I sustained damage to my autonomic nervous system that left me with a number of chronic health issues. They are not debilitating and I have recovered from the dizziness that I had for the first 3-4 months post infection but they are still a drag on my enjoyment of life and tolerance to adverse conditions so I would not agree with the statement you're making here in the face of available evidence.

I’m just getting over COVID. This is my third time having it. The first two times I barely knew it. I got exposure notices on my iPhone, tested and they came out positive. This time around I had coughing, chills, and body aches for a few days. I’m pretty sure it was this BA2.86. It seems much more potent compared to the past variants. At least I have immunity to it now. 🤷‍♀️

Everything old is new again! Here in Chicago and some of the people I am currently working with right now (all freelance) are from California. They flew in last week. One just yesterday didn't come to the job because she tested positive the night before. Then she found out her husband in LA tested positive. Also, we have heard of a few people in Chicago that just these two weeks tested positive. The woman here from LA who tested positive was feeling sick but not terribly--she was vaccinated but never had COVID previously and her husband who was vaccinated and also had a previous infection did not feel too sick at all. Especially compared to the first time he was ill. So anecdotally we are hearing of many recent infections while in early spring and early summer we never heard of anyone coming down with the infection. We are going to try to hold off till the new vaccine is out for the public.

What I’d like to know is what the real reason is behind this confusing wording by the CDC. I only had the initial two shots of mRNA vaccine and no boosters, and changed my mind about trust in Fauci & Co early on. And I never got Covid or got it and never noticed. I attribute this mainly to my attempts to have plenty of vitamins D and C and others, working out more and spending time in nature. I wasn’t particularly careful and really hate to wear masks. Now a new attempt is made to talk me into getting boosters or new vaccines if they are available. Since I’m 70, doctors won’t shut up about it, but also I haven’t seen a doctor for 2 years - in part because of that. I think unless someone tells me convincingly that the new variant is as bad as the black plague I won’t be coerced to get the shot.

glad you are doing well. One thing to keep in mind is that none of this is a binary result. There still are many people who have never been infected to their knowledge, but it remains important to understand that Sars-Cov2, current variants included, causes a lot of asymptomatic infections. This fact is what actually makes it so problematic. Viruses that cause immediate or profound symptoms in all infected individuals spread much less effectively than those that do not, because the host changes his/her behavior- its hard to be out spreading virus when you are bedridden or bleeding out of your eyes, for example. I don't think anyone should be forced to get health treatment, but the doctors in this case are just going by the numbers- people in your age group are more susceptible, and have been shown to gain some protection vs severe outcomes when getting boosted. That does not mean that YOU will be in that percentage group, but they cannot know that, neither can you. There is no nefarious plot here, just health care professionals doing the best they can with the data they have.

I just had one of the new variants. I was flat out in bed for 5 weeks. It had many strange symptoms that were different from when I had COVID19. I had been vaxxed twice. Didn't protect me from being very ill. At one point I felt like I was getting a blood clot in my leg. I also had severe mental "brain fog", fever, migraine, and difficulty breathing. I also had a rash on my chest, and developed some small lesions. The fatigue was unreal. I probably should have been in the hospital, but I literally was sleeping the whole time could barely get up to get water and food and back to bed. I also had visual disturbance in my eye, but that passed. Very bad.

Nice video. I (a neurologist) am on call this week and spoke to some of the internists and ICU doctors. There is in fact an increase in covid-19 hospitalization (due to covid-19, not incidental positive test). These cases of pneumonia are often mild and self limited and appear to respond to paxlovid anecdotally. ICU with low census overall right now, and no one in the ICU due to covid at my hospital. I have many high risk patients (in the outpatient setting), and none have been hospitalized with covid-19 in the last few months, though some have had a significant outpatient illness despite prior infection/vaccination.

He points out that the Israeli study looked at myocarditis in post infection patients but did not mention the timeframe for myocarditis from the vax. Also no mention as to whether there are hardly any deaths now because the virus itself has become less virulent .

Myocarditis after the vaccine was looked at immediately. The reason why there’s less deaths from Covid is because of T cell immunity, which does not Wayne as quickly and is more broad. We’ve discussed this before.
