I love how she actually takes the time to review products before she recommends. So many influences try something one time and then go on telling you how great it is😂
Agreed I love Taylor’s recommendations and really almost exclusively take her recommendations. I also love how she does a mix of high end and dupes/drugstore.
I recently bought the Isntree spf that you recommended in one of your vlogs and honestly it might be the first sunscreen that actually feels nice on my skin and doesn't break me out. Your recommendations never miss! Thank you for your honesty and integrity ❤️
Hi Taylor! I’m an aesthetic nurse and I would totally recommend trying microneedling with PRP treatments or on its own. Preferably look to a medspa/office that uses the skinpen specifically. Morpheus or some form of RF microneedling (uses heat) would also be amazing. I’d recommend a series of 3-6 sessions to see the best results. Essentially the “ damage” caused to the skin will force the skin remodeling process, it’ll ultimately help so much with large pores, textures and fine lines. It’ll definetely help with acne scarring. Adding retinol to your regimen would also be amazing to increase cell rate turnover would target fine lines/wrinkles and scarring as well 💕 Loved you’re video ☺️
I have no idea why, but every time I get microneedling or lasers done, I end up with MAJOr breakouts like cystic acne all over my cheeks and jaw area. They always say it's normal but I haven't heard of anyone else getting it like I have. It's weird because my face is generally clear and I'm not super prone to breakouts. It makes me never want to get anything else done because it's so terrible looking
That is true. It is not only about investing but having a finance pro so you don’t loose all of your savings and if you want to be more successful and earn more profits.
I was so encouraged and amazed to have gone through your Accutane journey with you. I use so many of the same products you do because of your recommendations. My holy grail is the K-beauty Scinic Cicanoid Retinal cream. (Retinal is 11 times more effective than a retinol/retinoid!) From this video, I will be buying the Cerave soap bar and the Paula's Choice BHA product.... it's time!!🖤🖤🖤
Instead of the wrist band things, I use two cotton scrunchies on my wrists. They work great 🤷🏻♀️ I can’t compare them to the actual wrist bands bc I’ve never used them but the scrunchies seem to do the job fine and they’re now multi use 😊
For me Taylor and EmilyNoel do such thorough and thoughtful trust worthy recommendations. I’m loving the vitamin c serum she recommends. It’s finally making a difference I can see. I always use the Elf cleansing balm but I just got the AOA green tea one off Amazon and it is really good too. It’s 9.00 but so high end feeling
I am soooo intrigued by this vitamin C serum 😍 Btw - ordered the makeup sponges from Amazon that you recommended (with the flat side & it comes with two that look like a ❤) and I LOVE them, thank you!!!
Hi Taylor! If you're looking for a strong retinol product. You should try the Avene Retrinal Intensive Cream (0.1), it's really effective and I layer it over my moisturizer to prevent irritation, since I have sensitive skin.
I just wanna say you helped save my skin Taylor! The Cerave Hydrating Cleanser and Paula’s Choice BHA are my holy grails now. I’ve gotten so many comments on my skin. Thanks girl! You da bomb 😘🤛🏻
I want to try the Alastin sunscreen so bad, it's just so expensive. I'll put it in my cart act like I'm buying it then don't. I do this like once a month lol 😆
always love watching these videos from you. a heads up , though - what you say about vitamin c serums at 16:25 is incorrect. vitamin c serums in general are in fact best to use during the daytime, as they boost the spf and can contribute to further protect the skin from the sun.
I'm curious if you tried the Trader Joe's new spf that kept going out of stock and still kind of is. It is kind of like a primer and no white cast. It's called "Daily Facial Sunscreen SPF 40"
Love it! Have you tried anything similar to block screen? I love the formula but unfortunately it breaks me out. I don’t mind a glow finish but I need to start with a more matte finish because by mid day the oils in my face are all out 🤣
Hey Taylor, I love all your videos! I just wanted to mention a great resource for skincare science is Lab Muffin Beauty. I've learned a lot over the years from her about labeling and EU versus US standards (and beyond since she's in AUS.) Similarly, Food Science Babe does a great job explaining these regulations relating to food (and there's a lot of crossover.) I love a lot of products that use misleading marketing I don't agree with, but I still like to know what's worth worrying about and not. I hope this helps you and maybe some of your other subscribers ❤️
It is so hard to decide when you and the Braun family drop videos at the same time. You usually win first view, unless they are having a Disney vlog. Both you and Jessica are so enjoyable to watch. I find your videos so informative and relaxing.
I bought that bar cleanser and I love it so much. It lives in my shower in an elevated soap dish away from the water. 10/10 favorite water based cleanser I’ve used so far. That elf balm is also amazing 😂
I got the Lawless Sleeping Mask and it’s ok, nothing overwhelming for me , I really like there glosses and was a bit disappointed in the sleeping mask for the hype it got.
I love love love the Belif true cream aqua bomb. It gives me this hydrated veil feeling. It's perfect for under makeup on my dry skin. I love it. I love the eye bomb, too. I love Belif in general. Great products!
Ou! I just purchased the Vit C Serum, it is on sale at the moment. Thank you for the recommendation. I tried the Derma-E Vit C serum but I found it didn't play well with my other skincare.
I highly recommend the wrist scrunchie towel for washing your face. I always dreaded it and now I don’t mind and actually enjoy it when not getting water everywhere. You’ll use them, promise!
I am unable to take off my makeup without first removing all of my jewelry. I always worry about how the chemicals my affect my jewelry or make them look dirty
Thanks to you I've been a Paula's Choice stan now for about 5 years! Can't go without it and it makes such a difference! I use it at night in my skincare routine, and I'll also use it if I'm going to putting on a full face of makeup. I'll do the Paula's Choice and the e.l.f holy hydration face moisturizer 30-60 mins before and my face is prepped!
Omg I am so excited for this video! I’m home sick from work and this popped up! *-* And I’ve been thinking about skincare a lot recently (I’m 33, be 34 this year) and I’m just so excited to get into this videoooooo
I started using rosehip oil after you recommended it ages and it's improved the dryness in my skin, I also love the Paulas choice BHA, I use the lotion version as I like the thicker texture
I was almost startled by how good the video quality is when I first pressed play. I'm not confident you used any new(er) gear but the video and you are looking fabulous.
This is the first time I watched you because I’ve been wanting to buy Korean brand vitamin C. I was almost going to purchase this from Amazon but I’m going to Wait now because what you said thank you
I am also a skincare lady and I really appreciate how approachable your routine is! One of my friends was asking me what she should be doing and I think I confused her 😂 maybe I’ll send this to her as it’s definitely more clear than I was.
Late to the video but I just watched your 2021 skin care routine and the beginning of the video was word for word exactly the same as this video. That’s how I know you are authentically you on your channel and we appreciate it ♥️
Literal thought of you and your channel today! A coworker asked me about my foundation and when I looked up Purito Cica BB cream on Amazon to show her, I saw they now have 3 more shades! Thought you’d like to know 🖤
I have also have a thing about hand cream...the texture is just NOT it for me. The only one I can tolerate is the O'Keefe's hand cream in the green tube because it dries matte and actually moisturizes my hands. I legit will have my hands crack and bleed in the winter if I don't use this stuff. Life changing.
your skin is amazing!!! I was on Accutane for 2 1/2 years and all of my acne has still come back -not the same degree but -some thing I have learned is that they have taught us to be scared of the sun using sunscreen all of the time. we need to be out in the sun without sunscreen daily!! So many humans are deficient in REAL vitamin d. sun is our number one nutrient ! 😄😄 ☀️
Such a great video! My shopping cart is stocked now 😊 I love that you mentioned you bring your products down your neck. My dermatologist suggests that we bring our face products all the way down to the chest and rub it in really good because all of that skin needs anti-aging, brightening and moisturizing love too. Especially sunscreen. I’m so glad I started doing that like 10 years ago in my 30’s because now at 43 my skin is still even, plump and consistent all the way down.
You introduced me to CeraVe years ago & I love their moisturizers. & I now have a tween who's using their products. They're so gentle & yet they work so so well.
Taylor when you mentioned Acutane and the year I realized I have been following you for years because I started watching you a long time before that. Thanks for the info on skin care, I will check out some you have mentioned.
Hi Taylor, vitamin C is recommended to be used in the morning as it reduces sun damage (of course SPF is needed on top of it), it is great antioxidant and improves collagen production. I think that is a very wrong myth not to use vitamin C in the morning. Talking about proper ascorbic acid here, not sure how different derivative of it behave.
I like the Paula's Choice, but it does smell unpleasant for a bit. Maybe it's just me, but it smells like a dirty baby diaper. If you do use the Paula's Choice in the morning, make sure you use a good SPF because it does make your skin more sensitive to UV rays.
My fav tinted moisturizer SPF (38 year old and works in construction-outside most of the day) is Australian Gold (stay with me!) Botanical Sunscreen tinted face lotion in 50 SPF. They have 3 different tints -I'm fair -and it says matte finish, but I would say more natural. Never drying, smooths out skin texture and I legit feel protected all day. Thanks for sharing your holy grails Taylor!
Wow we are totally the same on that PM routine! Since we seem to like the same stuff, I’ll recommend my hg toner, PC advanced replenishing toner, and for lips, next time you’re in Europe try the Nuxe reve de miel.
5 hours ago??! Gee I hope everything isn’t sold out yet 😅 your recommendations are the only ones I trust because of the finish of things and how you describe them- the closest I can compare with my skin
Yay! Love a skincare routine video from you as always! You discovered any good skincare products on your travels besides the spf ? Would love to see skincare product discoveries when you are on your nomad journey ❤
I question your suncreens since you took accutane, with the mindset that your skin isn’t breakout prone now. Thats always my beef with suncreens 😢😂 Update: Bil-bo-ah (like rocky)
I love that you keep your skin routine simple but effective. Now I feel better about myself for only using a cleanser at night and just washing my face with water in the morning😅😂 That Isntree Hyaluronic Acid SPF has been my holy grail for the past two years and I just can't let it go. I recently purchased a different one which I think is a good and a cheaper dupe for this one and it's the FRUDIA Ultra UV Shield Sun Essence SPF50+.
Oh, man I LOVE the smell of Rose Hip Seed Oil. It is a dead ringer for a core memory- I used to play with my cousins in their old barn (in the hay), and that’s exactly what it smells like. Every time I use it it’s a beautiful memory!
