Problem: my friends keep dying Solution: don’t make friends Outcome one: emotional deprived and depressed Outcome two: questioning life choices like “why did I start killing my friends in the first place? Outcome three: happier than ever before Outcome four (least likely): own a car
5:43 men in WWII created Kilroy was here, certainly an emoji like illustration and one of the first modern memes. And the original “happy face” was an iconic part of the 60’s and 70’s appearing on everything from t-shirts to graffiti to posters so…….. yes, they would have
I work in theatre, often helping out with set construction when I'm not on the stage. Kilroy is on basically every piece of stock wood we have. Remove a wallpaper? Kilroy. Strip paint? Kilroy. It's gotten to where a new piece of stock wood is not official stock until Kilroy makes an entrance. The foreman and lead set designer of the theatre company is an 84 year old man with a Santa beard. If he was as tech savvy as younger people, he absolutely would use emojis.
Would like to mention that my grandfather was in this compilation without my (or any of my family’s) knowledge and I showed it to everyone and he is now relentlessly teased. Thanks Mr Rose
IM EARLY TO A TOP COMMENT SO THIS IS YOUR SISTER HI TO MY BROTHER WHO WILL SEE THIS IN A FEW DAYS HE LIKES MATT ROSE YES IT IS ME EDIT SEND ME A SCREENSHOT OF THIS AND I OWE YOU SOME CHOCOLATE SAUCE MILK.
Agreed. He takes the time to think which order he should reveal the text and images in, what kind of voices and emotions he uses in different texts etc, which makes the tweets much funnier than just reading them off Twitter
The best message I've ever gotten from my grandfather was a voicemail after he accidentally butt-dialed me, and it's just two minutes of him ordering ice cream at a drive-thru lol
Throwback to the moment I did a text replacement from the letter S to Stray Kids, because I didn’t think I needed the letter S 🤦♀️. Turns out I was wrong
@@Prof.Finkelmeyeromg i almost forgot to turn the letter stray kids from stray kids into stray kids 😭 thanks for reminding me to change it from stray kids to stray kids
I love how almost all of the text to speech ones (including the ones on the grandma video) ends up with "call me" Like, they just got tired of the tts and gave up
Whenever I get a notification that Matt has uploaded, I always think "Man, it's so weird how he always uploads when I'm on my phone and in the mood for a new Matt Rose video." Then I realize that I'm always on my phone, and always in the mood for a new Matt Rose video
My grandpa is almost always dead silent in the family group chats my grandma keeps making. Save for one time when he texted us all the phrase "Note to self: don't get into fights with electric hedge trimmers. They win every time. Don't call. I'll live." accompanied by a photo of bloodied tissue paper.
"Miles, my champion! Do you think you will be going down the road this fine day? If so what shops do you go near? So-o-o could you get me a new little rodent?? Please?"
So I followed your advice, Matt, and did not send a multi-custard emoji tweet to Matt Walsh. That would not have been nice at all, nope. I most certainly did not make this my first tweet in over a year.
Imagine feeling emasculated by emojis...there are some other issues I think he needs to deal with... Thankfully we have a Matt who knows the importance of an emoji and isn't afraid to use them!
@@lightningrose3654 He mainly trolls/baits people (say something deliberately misogynistic or transphobic to elicit response-like that emoji tweet, then say it's a joke, then his fanbase gets to cheer on him and mock the "angry feminists/libtards/etc")
@@trashAndNoStar actually he's most famous for making a documentary where he asks the people who transition children how it occurs and what gender is. He doesn't need to bait them or trick them, he just let them talk and the average person can see what monsters they are. I highly recommend you watch it because the process is not as nice as you think, it's actually very sad these lobbies and doctors take advantage of vulnerable children
For some reason, when my grandma uses emojis when texting me, I receive some "?" instead. So every once in a while, I'll receive a "Love you ???" and I find it even funnier than sending the wrong emojis 🤣
@@0_dearghealach_083if your on ios it means its an emoji that isnt available on your device, such as the light blue heart or the hair pick or smth, you need to update your device.
3:28 why does that sound like my grandpa bruh💀 who else has grandparents that worked for NASA? Just wondering
I was once at a family gathering for Thanksgiving dinner, and my grandpa walked up to me with a plate full of food. He asked if I was hungry and did a gesture with the plate, as if to offer it. When I confusedly said "sure," he said "well so am I," and walked off.
I don't recall if Matt Walsh did or didn't acknowledge your custard attack, but I imagine his response would be along the lines of "Thanks for proving my point"
I love how grandparents always say something sweet at the begging like congratulations or happy birthday and then immediately drop a depressing story or info. My best friends grandma sent her a text reading “Wow that’s great! Grandpa has COVID.”
My dad does this😭 we’ll be on the phone and he’ll say “do you remember this person?” And usually the answer is no, and then my dad will say “they died - Anyway, bye, love you!” It’s so random 😭
Yeah. I imagine when I get to that age more and more people I know will be dying and I'll want to talk about it. Being casual about it would be weird though.
4:30 this is the equivalent of saying good luck to someone only to precede it with the amount of lives lost in hiroshima while also mentioning the aftermath
Hope you’re well! The incident that killed Kenneth Pinyan occurred at a 40-acre (16 ha) farm located in an unincorporated area in King County, Washington,[14][15] 5 miles (8.0 km) northwest of the city of Enumclaw.[14] Sgt. John Urquhart of the Sheriff's Office said that "typically", men were having sex with a horse on the property of James Michael Tait, a truck driver who lived in a trailer next to the farm, "but on this particular night it is my understanding that horse wasn't particularly receptive".[16] So Pinyan, Tait, and a third unidentified man snuck into the barn of the Southeast 444th Street farm that night. The men would often visit that farm for sexual purposes. Either Pinyan or the unidentified man recorded Tait being anally penetrated by a stallion known as Big Dick. After finishing, Tait then filmed Pinyan being anally penetrated by the same horse. During this incident, Pinyan sustained internal injuries including a perforated colon.[2][16] On July 2, 2005, an unidentified man dropped Pinyan off at the Enumclaw Community Hospital.[14][17] Medical staff wheeled Pinyan into an examination room before realizing he was dead.[14] According to the Medical Examiner's Office, Pinyan, 45, "died of acute peritonitis due to perforation of the colon",[14] and the death was ruled accidental.[18]
I hope you enjoy the homemade pasta! The Oklahoma City bombing was a domestic terrorist truck bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States, on April 19, 1995. Perpetrated by two anti-government extremists, Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, the bombing happened at 9:02 a.m. and killed at least 168 people, injured more than 680 others, and destroyed more than one-third of the building, which had to be demolished. The blast destroyed or damaged 324 other buildings within a 16-block radius, shattered glass in 258 nearby buildings, and destroyed or burned 86 cars, causing an estimated $652 million worth of damage.
Merry christmas beth, sorry about your ankle! The Holocaust was the genocide of European Jews during World War II. Between 1941 and 1945, Nazi Germany and its collaborators systematically murdered some six million Jews across German-occupied Europe, around two-thirds of Europe's Jewish population. The murders were carried out primarily through mass shootings and poison gas in extermination camps, chiefly Auschwitz-Birkenau, Treblinka, Belzec, Sobibor, and Chełmno in occupied Poland.
A little over a year ago for me. I was searching for dumb stuff people said on Yahoo Answers back when I heard it was shutting down soon, and some videos by Matt Rose popped up. He's one of my new favorite channels now.
so, my grandpa, who recently passed, sometimes sent empty sms and i thought "oh, maybe he did that by accident" (so, kinda cursed) turned out that he knew very well what he was doing and sent them as a "i've seen it, i love you" and it's randomly making me cry
4:20 My grandmother sent me a voicemail of her complaining about the taste of Diet Pepsi. It was a miscall and it’s one of the last things my grandmother sent me (even if it was a miscall) I still listen to it every now and again. It was annoying at the time but really it makes me happy hearing it
one time my grandpa was supposed to pick me up from school and i got on my phone about to text him when i suddenly got a bunch of notifications from him. the first message was "hey". The rest were what looked like a bunch of scam pictures and ads. He told me when I got in the car that he did not send those that his phone must have glitched. I feel so bad for him because he had no idea what happened
I’ll blow up into smithereens and spew my tiny symphony, all up and down the city streets while trynna put my mind at ease like finishing this melody. This feels like a necessity so this could be the death of me or maybe just a better me-
