I have made this drive hundreds of times irl, this video was actually stress-inducing 😆 Also; Spō-can, lol

With the coast to coast mod I did a trip from Los Angeles to Rhode Island.

Jeff do me a favor go see your DR. Make sure that cough is just a cough left over from the cold you had. I had a cough that would not go away back in 2008. Ended up being pneumonia and I stayed in the hospital for a month. Ended up with kidney damage from all the antibiotics they had to use to get me better.

Bronchitis sucks. I don't know if you've been to the doc for it, but if you haven't you best go. I used to get it yearly and now my lungs aren't as healthy as they should be (multiple bronchitis infections and a bout of viral pneumonia in the past don't help.) That truck looks really good and the drive was really nice. I'm not sure what's causing the frame drops other than that Jazzycat mod or a scenery mod. And thanks for the tip on Stevo's channel, that's been fun watching him do his flights. That TBM video you did helped out and it's been fun flying that plane. Now I'm going to try the Quest Kodiak he's flown.

I live in Ritzville which is on the 395/I90 interchange. This map is terrible. Landscape was accurate up until tricities(Kennewick). I can already tell you the Washington update from the game will be 1000x cooler. P.s. I love that truck!!

Great Video Jeff. BTW I was getting massive Frame Drops on my recordings of this as well and the culprit was in fact the Jazzycat AI cars as I saw a big improvement in the next one I recorded after removing them. Hope its the same issue your having so its an easy fix. Have a good weekend brother.

Yea I been having issues with my Nvidia overlay also. Some "telemetry" issues. That VNL looks amazing! That's been my favorite truck IRL.

Hey Jeff, Idk if you would be able to give me a tip on why my C2C mod doesnt work. I download the rar file and drop the scs file into the mod folder in the game directory, but when I launch the game, it doesnt show up in the mod manager. Is there something Im doing wrong?

I had jazzycats full set of mods and I had same problem took it out and I no longer have the stutters

Jeff it might be because you have the Coast to Coast map mod in collision with the AI Car mod. Reason I say that is because the modder of the AI Mod maker would have made the Mod with the Original map, and you've got the Coast to Coast mod trying to spawn the AI Mod in the Coast to Coast Map. I don't know if thats the problem for you, but seemed to be the problem for me. Great video by the way. Keep up the great work..! :)

The new 2019 Volvo vnl is a really well built truck its built for driver comfort in mind that's why the Jake is quiet I've driven the new Volvo and it sounds like it does in game

Double check if everything is updated completely and stable, update drivers (especially since nvidia patched a bunch of vulnerabilities). Could also be windows updating in the background, I know that causes my computer to stutter sometimes even in esports titles like Overwatch. Hope you feel better Jeff!

With me the pauses (skips) where those hood mirrors. I unloaded ever mod still had them took off hood mirrors hasn't happened since.

Jeff what VR headset do you use and how do you set it up for American Truck Simulator

I've been having issues with the Geforce overlay recorder for the last few months as well, and new driver releases have not fixed it. Mine is so borked that I have to go into the settings and enable recording with the 'Share' setting if I want video every time... I used to really like the overlay til about 6 versions back. That cough is vicious too. Man, it clings forever! Got mine from the kids at the end of December. I think it keeps coming back from our crazy weather swings. 70s and 80s intermingled with 20s and 30s for the highs.

Awesome video I really enjoyed that and I liked it and I love the color of the Volvo and I'm fixing to be moving to Orlando I already live in Florida but I live in north Florida I'm up here where hurricane Michel hit 5 months ago and everything Is not the same and my house is destroyed and my roof is fixing go be falling off and the insurance people ain't doing nothing and ain't gonna do nothing they have get to fix my house and I know that there not goin to so we are gonna have to move and we plan on moving to Orlando and I love it there and keep up the good work man and if i was y'all I would stay in Orlando I wouldn't go no where else

I haven't been playing ATS for a while, no idea what is causing your skips. There are many though. Unusual. Still love the vid tho. I'm driving a lot of ETS lately, with many map mods. Quite a view hickups there, i think mainly because these maps haven't been really updated lately. Just some patches and fixes by others. It's bearable as long as i keep my mirrors on medium distance.

Hey jeff, you should uninstall coast to coast, I had it installed and it kept crashing my game along with the canadream mod

The Portland to the Washington border was pretty amazing how accurate to real life that drive is like. It's pretty obvious that the mod of Washington State was done by someone who had never been to the east side of Washington State though. It's pretty much just the barren land and AG fields until you actually reach Spokane.

I don't run mods, just SCS and I get those frame freezes too. I've used just about all SCS's trucks and it don't seem to manner what you drive, the frame still pauses once in awhile..... That Volvo does have a really nice interior. ....... That cough you have is probably bronchitis, and you probably need a few doses of broad spectrum antibiotics and possible albureral inhaler. ...Blind side SCS mirrors have a lot to be desired especially from a distance.

Amigo, question unrelated to THIS video...any chance of you hopping back into RDR2 and doing side missions, hunting the legendary animals, and just generally exploring the rest of the map? I myself finished the series last month and binged your play-through in about 2 days and genuinely enjoyed the style in which you played the game. Although the people commenting “Jeff it’s not red eye, your aim is trash” and several other criticisms that weren’t constructive got annoying real fast, I still enjoyed it. Thanks again man!
