Definitely a dying art as well. I don't get to do as much fancy decorative stuff as I wish I could. Most metal roof, but I enjoy the fancy stuff with curves and intricate work.
^That's fkn awesome man, there are very few things in this world i enjoy more than hand craftsmanship. Taking a piece of raw resource x and working it long enough with nothing but tools and your hands, making it not only functional but something beautiful where form follows function. This also demonostrated, however, how difficult it is to put down conventional wisdom and the expectations associated therewith. I was sitting here thinking, "So when is he going to mount this on the Typhon?".
