Lord help us. I am glad that there are still Christians out there who stand up for the holiness taught in God’s word. The Bible is not outdated just because the world progresses 🥺.. God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow… if something was wrong in Jesus’ time… it’s still wrong today. 😔

Jesus can do miracles for those who truly seek Him and turn from their sins.
I don't know what I am. But I do know I am very uplifted by this new movementI hope this new Methodist church opens a branch here in Ireland. I once drifted by Methodism here. But I thought they were too liberal. So I moved (drifted ) along. God is doing mighty works. Praise God.

I know a pastor that retires from that denomination. A member asked him if he’d be attending the church as a member and he said no. Because he only taught truth and cannot sit under any doctrine outside the Bible.
The proudest, I have ever been of my in-laws, was when they left with their Methodist church! We are not saving souls, if we don't tell them truth! It will cost many souls!
This is great. "Come ye from amongst them". They will all be blessed in enormous ways for being loyal to the God they serve. Since I was a small child I knew this would come one day. Truth is the light. Got to love it.
I think this is happening in every so called denominations. I don’t consider myself a Christian anymore but I am a follower and believer of Christ Jesus and Him alone!! I had a church that I loved and I learned so much and then the pastors thought we needed to go to some of the mega churches to see what they were doing to grow their congregations. That was the beginning of the end. I told my pastor who along with his wife and children I loved them so much! But I told him about two or three years before the church finally split that there was a spirit of Jezabel in our church and in many others. And one by one the pastors started dropping like flies, as in adulterous affairs. Marriages fell apart and right now there are two, TWO, out of all the pastors and people behind the scenes are gone!! So the two that were left now have another big church in a larger community. I mourned so badly over this and I have never found another church that even preaches from the Bible anymore! All most of them do is look at the bottom line and the dollar signs that go with it! It’s taken me years to even get close to where I was with Jesus before I found out the truth of these men I trusted completely and even councelled with one pastor who me and my husband went to about our marriage. This man was extended family so I trusted him too! I couldn’t figure out why he constantly took my husband’s side every time; until he was the next to fall for Jezabel!! Matthew says there will be a great falling away and I believe it is happening and hitting hard and some won’t make it back!! It is so completely earth shattering! I pray that the LORD will put people in the lives of those that are searching and lost for having believed in what was supposed to be Truth and got lies!
I feel your pain. My wife was deeply hurt at a faith church we attended 35 years ago and left when things that were hidden from us were exposed. But we keep plugging along. Jesus says be of good cheer for I have overcome the world and am preparing a place for you
You are not alone. There are many spiritual refugees. I went 17 yrs without finding a bible teaching church that would stay true. The Lord kept me safe all that time. And has now found a church for me that is true to God's word Take heart
"Christian" means "follower of Christ" in its original form! You can proudly call yourself a Christian Patricia! And when we boast, we boast in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:31"Therefore, as it is written, 'Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.'" Amen amen

I helped my parents who are in their 80’s find a Methodist church that has left the ideology of sin and stuck with the Bible. My dad was a minister at one time and forced into retirement for preaching on the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit showed up and filled the youth group. The Superintendent and Bishop called dad before the board. A board member (minister) folded his arms and said, “I don’t know anything about this Holy Spirit and I am sure it doesn’t belong in the Methodist church “. That man and the Superintendent died not long after that vote of ousting my dad.
God is One, Three in Persons: Father, Son (Jesus) and Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God who raised Jesus from death and we believers will also rise after we die by the same power which is the Holy Spirit. The Superintendent and the Minister blasphemed God the Holy Spirit.
Jesus said all manner of sin against the son of man shall be forgiven him, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit it will not be forgiven him,either in this age or the age to come. Mathew 12:32 Take heed
@@patrickscally2882 yes 🙌🏻. I was very angry at those men for what they caused my dad to go through. Then Holy Spirit spoke to me about Matthew 12:32. When I found out that both of those men died I knew exactly where they were.
Almost all of my grandparents friends that have been members 50 plus years are leaving in large numbers it's been exactly as he explained brutal, they didn't want traditional teaching changed or taken away
God's candle stick will only be in a Groupe of people that obey his loving ways. There is a difference between committing a sin and practicing a sin! God's candle stick will be with those who obey him!
I am so grateful to hear that there still is the TRUE HOLY Church and those willing to lay it all down for Jesus. This isn't easy. I know of which I speak. But it's required by Almighty God, and well worth the effort.
Basic foundation "He created them man and woman." Also you can't make things up. You have to use your faith as a FOUNDATION. I'm glad many know the scripture. Praise God in all his designs. He gave us very simply the "HOLY FAMILY". That is our example of a family (which the demonics are trying to attack the family, which is the foundation of the family). As a child I was christened in a Presbyterian church. Throughout my life and navy career any paperwork that asked religious preference I would always mark Presbyterian. I no longer identify as a Presbyterian for the same reason these Methodist churches are disaffiliating from the U.M.C. I also sent a rather scathing email to Presbyterian church headquarters as to why I no longer choose Presbyterian as my religious preference.

The Bible says to not forsake meeting with fellow believers. It also quoted Jesus saying, no "one" comes to the Father but by me.
What would the Wesley's have thought of the apostasy of the denomination named after them. Praise be to God for this purifying and sifting so that the true church grows to the glory of the Lord. Ryle says to follow the Old Paths. Repent and return...these are painful and exciting times . PTL
So proud of the global Methodist church for standing up for Gods truth. We are currently leaving our church as our pastor insists on promoting his viewpoints on many issues vs Gods truth. It’s so very sad but I do believe a revival is taking place.

I live in Massachusetts and it made me cry every time I saw a huge UMC building with that flag. Too good to know there are people in there that don’t conform.
Good God ALMIGHTY please send Jesus back soon. God bless all who love and teach the true word of God in full without picking what they want to believe and leading many astray. This is part of the great deception and the great falling away, soon the great tribulation. Pray you're counted worthy to escape the judgment coming soon on all the world. God made Adam and Eve. Period. Have compassion on confused genders but don't put them in positions of power in the church of Christ Jesus and God ALMIGHTY. This is sad but beautiful because it's proof Jesus will return very soon.
Boyet's coming 'Spiritual Awakening' is really the 'falling away'. Multitudes of people are going to choose to follow another gospel that is not the gospel. So, while people are praising this 'spiritual awakening' what they are actually going to do is praise the largest 'falling away' in world history. People are going to be attracted to a world religion that is unoffensive and all inclusive and doesn't reject anybody for any reason. THAT will be this new 'spiritual awakening'.
No, it's the current UMC that is following another Gospel. The people joining the Global Methodist Church are doing so to continue in Biblical truth and historic Christianity, passed down from the Apostles. You aren't being put off by the word "Global" are you? Global is being used because former UM Churches all over the world have remained true to Scripture, while the UMC has been going more and more "woke" and promoting anti-Scriptural theology.

Sounds like the falling away of the church.anyone that doesn't follow the Bible (God's living word) ,does not belong to God.they claim too,but deny the word.they have itchy ears.makes me sick to see this.i work for a church and I feel it's changing,also heading in this direction.the moment they bring that in,I am Out!.
God is pleased I'm sure with these methodists that want to follow the true way that the Bible teaches instead of following what the liberal progressive movement teaches. My hat is off to them. And my prayers go out to them.
Light cannot have fellowship with darkness. I briefly attended a UMC church. I knew I had a desire and need to serve God in spirit and truth, which is why I opted to leave on my own. My loved ones resented me for it. Yet I chose God’s Word and obeying His standard (one man and one woman) was not something I could budge on.
I left the Methodidt Church. If they didn't use Jesus' parables to tell me that I'm prejidist, I'm a racist, I hate anyone not like myself, and that Jesus would have been a socialist, then I would have stayed . I can't see any other church other than the independent Baptist church that stays in the Bible.
Thankfully, there are still many Methodists that hold the holy Scriptures as the standard, and are willing to stay with God‘s truth. Bending the truth creates God in your own image, according to the likeness you want him to be.
Alot of churches being more easy on people living together outside of marriage. Preachers are not preaching about sin anymore. Some won't even mention the word sin. They won't mention the word Hell either. They will have to stand before God and answer.

Sexual immorality is a unique sin. Notice, we’re usually exhorted to avoid or stand firm, with sexual immorality, we’re told to turn and RUN! It’s a sin that has a lasting effect of corruption physically and spiritually. 1 Corinthians 6:18 “Flee sexual immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral man sins against his own body.” Let us be in prayer for those who are afflicted with such temptations that come not from God as tests, but from the flesh to corrupt. James chapter 1
Why would it be a hard decision to leave the UMC when they are promotiong things that are contrary to scripture? I would have left in a heartbeat....and so would my teacher... Jesus.
As a lifelong Methodist, I am considering leaving the UMC. However, I am confused by the term Global. It's a little too close to Globalist for my comfort.
The real test for those leaving the apostate United Methodist Church is how seriously they take their commitment to Scripture - the same Bible that clearly proclaims homosexuality to be a sin also does not "permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man" - ( 1 Timothy 2:12). In other words, there is no room in a biblical church for women elders, pastors, or "bishops". The new GMC apparently is willing to shed the obvious progressivism of homosexuality, but is reluctant to do the same for feminism. Hopefully they will someday come to see this error and fully turn to the Lord and away from this ungodly and adulterous culture.
Praise God. The Methodist church near me has a gay and trans flag- and a sign that all are welcome. I'm so thankful for this movement by the Methodist church
