@@parry4now ..............NO! The ancestors of the people NOW involved were not in the U.S.A. yet. I think YOUR ancestors were involved in the killing of thos beautifull animals.
It's absolutely amazing to watch Cowboys (& herding dogs too) & cowgirls do roundup a of horses, cattle, buffalo, etc!!!! We stayed in a house in Wales years ago and they'd run the sheep down and then back up the road every couple of days!!! It would take about 20-30 minutes for them to all pass through! Meeting that crowd when u are cycling is quite interesting!!!!
Now can we see why the Native Americans were so upset when the bison were all killed? Imagine the prairie "black with buffalo" according to some Native accounts...bison as far as you could see. Thanks for this.
J ai vus de mes yeux vu la même chose dans le massai mara au Kenya sauf que ç était des gnoux. Arrivé vers 10 h le matin, nous n avons quitté le lieux qu à 15 h et ça défilait toujours sans voiture ni cow boys.
it would still be possible to regrow the herds. the problem is pure gened bison number fewer than 15000 and they keep culling them annually in yellowstone instead of moving them to strengthen local gene pools.
Well it could be good, but not good at the same time. If they became more wild, where they could access farm land, the foods you eat would be at high risk.
@@TheLorax-2012 well as the Lorax you should understand that looking after the environment and native animals should a priority!! Looking after the environment is a win for both humans and animals, we should be able to coexist without exterminating the animals just so humans can plant crops to feed more humans!! Maybe in the not to distant future human population control will become acceptable, to help the planet sustain all the earth's creatures!!
@@MrDredd1966 I accidentally replied the wrong thing 🤣 anyways, it would be helpful, and hurtful to humans. One reason the Europeans killed off lots of bison was because the bison would eat their grown food at the farm. Yes it is good they grow, but bison should get to a point where they stop, because that would effect the food you eat, so many people may starve, anthrax would become more common in humans and bison, and a herd of 10s of thousands would go through cities of able to, which would cause lots of destruction.
Just think, the American government ordered the slaughter, and almost completely wiping out the existence of the buffalo, in hopes of starving out the countries indigenous American Indians. Incredible to witness the growing strength in a herd of buffalo.
It's those guys that'll look after the soil there. Keeping it good and healthy the way it's way it's meant to be. Where they were run off the land it's been turned to dust.

@@u.s.paratroops4633 they are not pure gened bison. they are genetically different from their ancestors. yellowstone keeps culling the pure gened when they should be transported to strengthen local gene pools. greedy mt ranchers that control the legislature are to blame.
@@u.s.paratroops4633 i really dont care if they cull mixed gene bison. they number in the millions. only care about protecting few remaining pure gened bison with same genetic makeup as their ancestors. they number fewer than 15000 and they are critical for rebounding of species. for example yellowstone culls thousands of pure gened bison every year
What is the purpose of this round up? Are these privately owned Buffalo or are these wild animals. If wild animals what is the purpose of rounding them up and lock them in pens for what reason. There is also no need for trucks to be used it stresses the Buffalo more than they are already stressed by rounding them up.
Not sure who to contact about this. But, is it possible to use a clip with Phil Randall carrying the flag for a non-profit video we are working on about him?
Buffalo coming back more than other is Wonderful.... Awesome animals n (good meat cuz the meat is lean better than hamburger) make sure you don't get in there way or you will pay for the injuries...
why are they herded? why do they make them all run - if they don't keep them going at a fast pace, they'll just stop & it'll be hard to get them going again? good weather window? I'm just wondering if all the charging is for the tourists. ?

Boa viagem!
The animals should be treated like human being not like mountains rock . If you are civilised country then follow the phlosophy of good non violence phlosophy not like barbarian phlosophy .
@Ajit Pani...............treating an animal like a human is very CRUEL. You should treat an animal as the the animal he is. Do not treat a flamingo the same as a leopard or a butterfly as a hawk.
Animals are not humans, and are not fitting to be human. We have a way higher intelligence, growth, advancement, and general for some stupid fucking reason the crazy lefties like to separate race and end up hating English people. But yeah no, that also includes zoophile reports getting way higher.
Couldn't this Park have a better name than Custer? It should be named for the indigenous people who had this land stolen from them by ignorance and violence.
South Dakota, Lands of Lakotas, brave warriors: Tutanka Yotanka, Tutanka Witko and all ended in Wounded Knee. Lands of the Lakotas, where much blood has been spilled by human greed!

Poor things MUST be thirsty and hungry!!! Don’t like the show. For what! If it’s for vaccinating them every few yrs, I’d be ok with that. Just to round them up for show, I’m not. I’ve heard they try to vac all large animals maybe deworm. Let them roam and move where they want.
It's for blood work testing, branding new members, sorting, and vaccinating and taking around 200 of them to be sold for breeding, food or (yard ornaments "pets")
