This video is short and informative, better than all the long videos I've been watching. I just learned that I filed the wrong court order after watching this video

50/50 is nonsense. We have that arrangement now and it’s so bad for them. I’m the mother and have a stable home with rules and schedules. Their dad has different rules and is a complete narcissist which is the one thing that doesn’t matter to anyone in any court. I need to have them in my home for school (6th and 9th grade) and he can see them on weekend and take them to dinners once in a while. I have been told by multiple teachers and both of their therapists that they see a difference in mood and behavior when they are with me vs with him. What can I do?!?

I'm genuinely concerned about the challenges you're facing. The well-being of your children is paramount. 1. Start by documenting everything. Note any mood or behavioral changes in your children after their visits with their father. If educators or therapists are seeing differences, get this in writing. 2. You should seriously consider consulting a family lawyer about this. They can guide you on potential changes to custody based on what's best for your kids. 3. It's beneficial that your children are already in therapy. Therapists can give expert feedback on the emotional well-being of your kids, which might prove crucial in court. 4. If you can, try to talk to their father about your worries. Mediation might also be a pathway to understanding. 5. Always act immediately if you feel your children's safety is compromised. Your focus should always be on the best interests of your children.

Then u ain't the mother of your kids. It's the teachers and your therapist. Lol

Buy him off to get them majority with you. My ex wife took 90 grand in return for me getting my kids 85% of the time and she visits them on weekends now. It was worth it for both them and me.

So we have joint legal custody but my ex wife gave me full physical custody. We have an agreed upon visitation agreement with her seeing our kids on weekends. Takes them Overnight for late Friday and she brings them back home Sunday. We initially had joint physical custody, but I was awarded custodial parent with a 68/32 split at first. But ex wife offered to give me more time with them for a payout to her which I was more than happy to pay. So we did a court order addendum and I was awarded full physical. How does this affect decision making for them? Am I obligated to provide her with school activities, dentist appt times, etc. that are essentially all during my times with them? We have a 80/20 (roughly) split with me having them majority of the time.

My in laws have temporary guardianship of my children. And they won’t let me have ANY visitation with my children. I am doing everything that I am supposed to do with proof. And they cut off my visitation . How do I get legal visitation rights? In California

As a grandmother, do I have a right for visitation or spent time with my grandkids? I live in California. My son banned me from seeing my grand daughter. If things doesn't gets in his way, he would banned me from seeing my grand daughter. He would yell or shout at me or just because he wants to shout at me, I don't do anything or react, I just let him yell at me for no reason, I am afraid if I say something he would not let me see my grand daughter. This is the second time he did it to me. tHe little girl probably wonder as to what happened to grandma and why she is not seeing her grandma all of a sudden. what should I do? I used to watched his little girl after my work off and on my days off, and I even uber his wife to her work with my own car and gas. I don't get pay for watching my grand daughter. Missed understanding or missed communication got me banned from seeing my grand daughter. His wife work flex hours, my son told me her schedule work but since she work on flex hours, my son told me he will get back to me and let me know. the day came and my son didn't get back to me, so I assumed she didn't get the hours. Oh boy! my bad, they fired me instantly and got banned to see my grand daughter. They find a childcare place near where they live and pay $900 a month for three times a week. My grand daughter would come home with lots of bugs bites and fleas bite, So sad she was suffering and they kept bringing her to that place because their reason they don't have no choice. Now I am banned again the reason is My son texted me if I can watch his kids (have a new born) after my work, and just happened I texted him back with a question "WHY WHERE YOU GUYS GOING"? then he texted me back saying never mind. that's all it is and now I am not able to see my grand daughter and their new born son. do I have a right to see my grand kids? By the way, he work as an HR and he can't even resolve this kind of problems. do you think he is capable working as an HR if indeed he can't even resolve his own problems?

@@DianaRomanovska I am afraid of making an appointment. I did it like last week with MARBLE Law something about grandparents rights. Marble called me and set up date and time to talk to a lawyer but first I had to pay $49 refundable if I decided to look for other place. Time came sent me a reminder of my phone appointment didn't even bother to call and answer my messages. Totally scammer. This kind of people took advantages of vulnerable grandparents. So sad the world we live in now a days.

What if there was domestic abuse twice but no record was filed? The mother was to scared in her postpartum depression. It’s it too late to document the domestic abuse?

Is a memorandum of limited understanding from 2019 considered a custody order or court order?
@DianaRomanovska
@DianaRomanovska Год назад
No, it is an agreement. An Order is only a document that the judge signed.

@@DianaRomanovska thank you so much. I am trying to get an IEP for my daughter but the other party is reusing. The school is asking if we have a custody or court order that states we have to mutually agree. But all we have is the MOU. So this document isn’t legally binding correct
