That is correct, the low beam and high beam are separate from the DRL/turn signal! The switchback board is simply a replacement for your DRL board to have RGB functions, and keep an SAE compliant turn signal when your turn signals are activated!

Our RGBWA LED Boards also include a LED chip that is amber in color, so when you hit your turn signal, the white/multicolor shuts off, and they light up bright amber to indicate signaling. Our replacement RGBWA Ram LED Boards were CAD designed specifically for the 2013-2018 OEM Ram Projector headlights. They may fit in your TYC headlights, but we have not confirmed that. Yes rivets would be much better! You can find the small rivets and the tool needed at auto parts stores or Harbor Freight! H.F is cheap but 100x better than bread ties!

There are two wires - one for high power white, and one for low power. If you wish, you can connect the low power to your headlights so they dim down at night.

Absolutely it will, just use a drill bit slightly smaller than the hole that the rivet goes through. Looks like a 1/8" bit.

@diodedynamics Yes, "Innovation" means thinking ahead of desire from consumers from company internal initiative. I'm not precisely certain if sequential was progammed 8 years ago, as "time flies and it seems it was already in the market, but otherwise then would have been the time to be "Innovative". As for the Now, you say "suggest" it. That it is still now not been an update version to roll out to current consumers? That'd still be not even keeping up with the market. The company needs an internal salaried person paid for thinking in Innovation, then certainly continuing education on the market to at least keep up.
