Welcome to Good Hope Cannery in Rivers Inlet, BC, Canada!
This week on Lodge Life I am giving you a little tour of the second floor with my mom! She came to help out at the lodge while Marie was away on her days off.
Also Kevin Conway will be showing you all the boats and what they have to offer. Guide boats, dog boat, comfort boat, work boat, row boat, jet boat. We've got all sorts here at Good Hope Cannery.
Next week I am taking a half day to go explore an old abandoned cabin nearby in Johnston bay.

Wow,, this video explains so much about the lodge and operations ! I understand why the boats are in such beautiful condition in the spring ! And what beautiful equipment this lodge has. The pride and thoughtful nature of every aspect. The catch and release program is world class.

WOW! I didn't realize how nice the lodge is. My Dad and I were invited there once for dinner and stayed the night on my boat. All your boats are very nicely done. Love the safety equipment. Great job on the viedo. A lot of long hours at the peak of the season. Good Job!

I have been using them so much and really need to take the time to sharpen them often. I love them so much!! I love the tradition of “not severing the relationship” by giving a small amount of money.

hey i know this is an old video and maybe you know this already but a piece of paper towel gets the skin off a roasted pepper like its nothing... im a new subscriber (2days) and im all caught up on this seasons videos so im working my way back lol anyway love the videos!

What is Good Hope, if it is not a fishing lodge? Has it changed its purpose recently? Another great video.

Good Hope Cannery is now a private home/ Wilderness Lodge who’s guests are invited up by the family that owns it. It started as a Cannery, then turned into a sport fishing lodge and is now private. Thanks for asking and I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed the video. Take care!
