This custom built Kral Puncher NP-02 920cc .177 air rifle is SUPERB! Shoots like a laser beam even in high winds and it's a one off!

Air rifle on test: Custom Kral Puncher NP-02 920cc .177 in sub 12 ft lbs. Created by Andy from AA Gun Locker as a present to my daughter. What a STAR he is!
The pellets used on test are:
Bisley Long Range Gold (H&N) .177 / 4.5mm (no weight given),
Air Arms Diabolo Fields .177 / 4.52mm - 8.4gr,
JSB Match Diabolo Hades .177 / 4.52mm - 8.44gr,
Remington Thunder Baracuda (H&N) .177 / 4.5mm - (no weight given),
Diana High Power (H&N) .177 / 4.5mm - (no weight given), and
Norma Golden Trophy FT Heavy .177 / 4.5mm - 9.1gr.

Thanks Mark. She's still fighting! The stroke has left her with next to no control of her left side so she's now confined to a chair... it's really tough on her but she's not giving up

Hi Edgar, thanks for the well wishes! She's still fighting and that's the important part...just wish she would get some use of her left arm and leg back. The longer it takes to come back, the more likely it will be permanent. Regards the site, I took the decision to switch it off as I simply wasn't getting the numbers needed to keep it going. Dealers weren't paying to place ads and I can't live on fresh air. Shame but seems everyone wants everything for free these days and then are surprised when services disappear. All the best and I'll call you in a few days.

I find the np02 seems to love all bisley pellets so far out the 3 ive tried anyway. I shoot .22 but I was originally wanting the 177 for the trajectory but was always .22 in stock and I didn't want to keep waiting 😂

I have several air rifles including BSA R10 SE, AA S410, HW 100k and the Kral NP02, although the NP 02 is the cheapest I still tend to go to it first, great rifle, lovely rebuild on yours I have to say. As for pellets I use JSBs and QYS both extremely accurate. Fingers crossed for your daughter making a speedy recovery 🤞🤞🤞

You slipped up you knew bisley long range gold would be accurate because you said let’s put a few in that 5p oh I mean try and put pellets on it “naughty naughty”

FIRSTLY.. hope your daughter gets better real soon.. So young too have a stroke,, so best wishes from me and the wife too her.. The Np02 is a descent rifle straight from the box, bought my son in law one for crimbo a few years back and he loves it, only thing I found a bit naff was the trigger, really needed some fettling, weren't mine so I didn't mess ( his first ever air rifle) that said, it was only a little heavy ( or still is) so I recon Andy must have done some quality work on your daughter " special", as far as the trigger go's.. All in all a very good rifle even in standard trim.. I'm a leftie anawl, so cocking it works well, mind you it don't really bother what side its on.. But as far as the NP02 go's I believe it was originally designed as a pistol so left hand cocking would benifit a right handed shooter.. Anyway, great review and some descent grouping /accuracy.. Nice work

How do you screw on the front bottle ? Was an adapter made , can you please shed some light on this so we can mod too , thanks a lot , hope ur daughter is well ❤

Sorry but I can't. This is a custom build from scratch and a one off. Andy said that he would never do another as it was an absolute pain to do. And I wasn't there when he built it...all I know is that it's a true Frankenstein with parts from other makes as well. Even the stock has had a lot of work done to it to get it to fit... being both shortened and internally reshaped to accommodate the chassis. Thanks for asking about my daughter. She's still recovering from the stroke she suffered in September. Lost 50% of her eyesight, the use of her left hand and complete loss of feeling to her left side. I honestly don't know where she finds the strength to keep fighting!

Great shooting however I do think strong wind may be a bit of an exaggeration, I cannot see any movement in the grass or distant trees.

Hi @bardot777, I just had to watch it again...9 months since it was posted. There were some gusts although admittedly when it came down to the last accuracy test and especially the last group, the wind did die down. So you've got me on that! Ha! Anyway, all the best and thanks for watching.

Looks and shoots great. Can the cocking lever be swapped to the right hand side of the rifle?

Hi, the cocking lever can't be swapped but as it's my daughters and she is left handed, it works for her. All the best and thanks for your continued support.
