I just got a 2012 v6 and while I’m not gonna be out here trying to race I wanna customize it and make it mine lol. It’s nice to see other custom camrys
It's all about the enthusiast side of the car world and what you can do to any car really, 80% of the time you can improve a lot of vehicles just by dropping a better suspension system and tires that make it stay floored. That alone already produces the spirited driving of vehicles, custom seats and interiors customized to your liking. A lot of 4 bangers already feel good at 170+ horsepower, a little aftermarket parts in the engine bay here and there ( manifold, headers, SRI/CAI, downpipe, midpipe, exhaust, or in other words FBO, full bolt on ) and a professional custom tune can give it the oomph to make it within 15-30 horsepower. It takes time and money, but in the end, it's worth the effort and something you've done yourself!
@@danabeckham7461 oh trust me I have too. Lol I try and be good but they just tempt me. I talked my friend into a 21 Camry and even tho it’s a 4cyl she was getting it on a charger 😂. Honestly I’d be embarrassed is I was in a muscle car and a Camry was beating me
Camrys are great cars, looks good and good build quality. It will be on the roads for decades to come. Much longer than the other cars you worked on. Congrats. My fav Camry even to this date in June 2021 is this Gen you have from 2012-2015. To me your gen Camry looks the best. And gotta be a V6. Nice!
I have a lifted ram 2500 and level silverado 1500, all trucks are lifted with wheel and tires. But i recently purchased a 2011 Toyota Camry and i have been looking add pictures and videos. Finally i found your video and got an idea, i definitely love the set up dude. keep up the good modification!
You can also do a 6 Speed Manual conversion swap from a TC2 on the Camry. I got lucky when I was car shopping for a Camry, I found mine with a 5 Speed Manual Transmission from the Factory. I love it, she turn heads when I'm rolling through the streets.
Looks great. Only thing i would recommend for safety is to replace that battery with a AMG sealed battery so you dont have to worry about leaking or off gasing. Great job take care.
Thanks for the advice. I’m going to make another episode, well I’m going to be upgrading my trunk. And with that I’m going to have a red top and yellow top battery
Check out the XS Power d3400 there close to $400 but are extremely reliable and lots of people say they last 10+ years i have 2 in the back of my Izusu Trooper pushing 4 12s and 2 amps totaling 5000watts and they have held up to alot of abuse for 5 years.
It’s a “grandma car”…. Nah bruh people underestimate these camry’s bruh don’t get it twisted 😂, those cars got waaaay more potential then what people things, those cars have a lot of durability 🔥💪🏽.
That build is siiiiiick bro, I've had a 2012 2gr for a years now myself. I'm plannin on movin soon, I live in California, born n raised, I'm hella tired of the emissions rules and limitations on things I can do to my Camry... It's badass to see you doing this type of work your Camry. they're mad underrated! I love my 2gr it's a great drive, never disappoints, just wish I could do more to it performance wise under the hood. That battery relocation, killer idea I've never seen that done actually ever. I have two rockford fosgate 12's in my trunk, I feel your struggle about goin to bags lol, I've gotta restructure/ build a more efficient bass setup to fit the compressor n tank too 🤣🤣I'll be sure to sub n check out your other videos, this being two years old I'm sure the car has come a long way lol, keep up the killer work brother 🤘🏻
I replaced all my lights with leds and have the daylight running that turn to a turn signal on the front lights and I have the rear strip for the back that also turns into turn signal reverse lights and regular red lights under dash led lights I did a few extra led mods I added led strips to my dome lights and door lights blue and red a 12 inch sub I hooked up to stock radio and the pedal commander which is awesome by the way it doesn't give horsepower it increases or decreases ur rpms getting rid of the lag and a short ram intake next thing is a strut bar for the front which is coming in the mail I wanna do an exhaust and tint the windows and a fresh paint job and maybe rims and I'm done I have the 2014 se camry 2.5 liter great car love my camry
We got the same car, I just need to put some TLC back into it. I’ve put so much into mine. I was building mine before they even made parts really for my car. I’m just now about to get coil overs. After using eibach lowering. I’m straight piped cause it rounds better. I just want a stainless muffler. I’ve done everything you’ve done plus more. I would take all your emblems off. Except the Toyota. Get the LED emblems. Get some Nitto Neo Gens. Best tires ever. I’ve had all brands of tires. Nittos are the best. Check mine out but I’m about to put a new update video out to catch up. I’ve done a lot. Turning it into a 2021/2013 TRD the whole inside of my 2013 will be the inside of a 2021 basically. Looks good tho. Get a Sig too lol
When I hear that creaking during turning I usually wanna say CV Axles. Usually you can hear them creaking when you're giving it gas around a turn; it's bad when it's creaking during just idle. Could also just be something in your steering assembly though. My 2 cents.
i think that noise is coming from the springs binding from being so tight to go that low with the car. try lube at the top or raise the car some or just deal with the sound lol its a coil over thing that sometimes happens.
Hey brother I would like to know where I can buy the lights below, if you can help me with the link to find it 2012 toyota camry oem fog light trim grille
Which Camry do you have? Those fog lights/trim are stock and you can find them at your nears dealership, but if you don't want to pay full price. There might be some aftermarket ones on eBay...
Thank you very much for taking your time to answer me, I am talking about the ones next to the fog lights, the led ones and I have a Toyota camry se 2012 2.5
Bro I had my amps placed on the back of my seats which allowed me to turn my subs facing inside my car which will give you a better sound also imma have to get me some more mods after seeing this love your car bro
Ahhh so youre the guy who had the 7th Gen camry on that dyno! Good stuff bro, I just subscribed. I got a 7th Gen too. Hoping to build mine too in the future. I plan on manual swapping and going nitrous. I got vids of racing in Mexico! Lol these are sleepers for sure!
Camry is a good car if you take care of it, if you watch a Nascar you will see camry there on track. My top speed on my camry was 145Mph. Not too bad and that's without turbo.
Hi, Your Ride is Very Nice🔥👍 like My 2014 Camry SE lowered and I put some Black aftermarket Rims...gotta Save some money to make it look 😎...Aloha from Hawaii....
Yo... Nice Job on the Camry! ... Not sure if you're still producing videos but here's a heads up (Productive Criticism). You don't have to tell us (the audience) all the flaws on your Cam right off the bat or what kind of shots you're using (B roll) in the video. I'm glad you're super honest and I liked the part about the suspension toward the end but when it comes to video or any other art you create, you are the Artist and what you give us is what we (the audience) get, you don't give up all the secrets. It's like Picasso pointing out all his flaws in his paintings and not letting us just appreciate them for what they are, Art. FYI I'm a video production teacher/Artist and here cuz I own an OG 07 Camry... its beat up as hell right now but looking to get it back up to speed. Thanks for the Video and Inspiration.
What Size Tires You Have One?? I Had That Same Sound And All I Did Was Adjust The CoilsOvers To They Were The Same Hight And I Got Rid Of The Problem!! BTW The Camry Is Fyre !!! 🔥🔥
She looks sweet!!! I have a 2014 SE V4 , no complains just thinking about changing from 225/50/17 to 235/55/17 as my daily driver.....Any thoughts or suggestion???
Nice whip bro I have a 2014 SE v6 only exterior mods was thinking of putting on the BC coilovers but that noise scary im gonna have to research an alternative.
It's weird that you don't have the intake hose to direct the cold air to the intake. It just sucks random air through the hot engine bay. I bet if you monitor your air intake temperature with and without it you will see a difference.
The stock air duck/hose was too bulky and prevent room for future mods (turbo), air is entered from the front grill and Ram hood giving fresh air from the outside
Got same model but 13 I was checking out the supercharger kit. But anyways liking it. Has the car thrown CELs for the car removal of the CATS? Would really like to know. Have you bunged it?
I got my engine light on for the oxygen sensors after removing the cats, The only way I can get rid of that is by flushing the system or getting a standalone ECU, which is my next performance project
Trying to get my hands on the a third option too and made some calls but that kit is 10k found one for 5k but I’m upgrading my whole fuel system first to hold boost trying to get a hold of a ecu from either one of those cars and maybe piggy back
These are cheap good looking rims, I know my roads out here very well, so I never bumped into any potholes. However, they’ve been holding out pretty well for the past three years
I had to pull out the center Consol where the gearshift knob is that. You exposed the inside and you can drill a hole through it and put it back plate to secure the gun holster
@@chrisnas1483 the LED button switch was for my Underbody light, which I no long have. Those squares can be popped off and you can place any switch that fits. That wire was run from the battery to the opening
I think it is tire noise, from turning the wheel left to right with the car not moving. It could from the type of tire being used? You have a bad ass build 👍👍🙂👍👍...Have you ever entered it into a car show?
I installed the same K&N intake on my V6 camry and can't get it to stop making a whistle noise. I've checked all the lines and air box intake. Any suggestions? Is it possible that it's not getting enough airflow and that's what is causing the noise
@@81TR33Entertainment I've checked them a lot since I've installed the intake. They're connected correctly and the included caps are in the right spots. I did some research and it's either that there's not enough airflow because of the battery, or the throttle body gasket has a metal insert that's causing the noise when high flow air gets pulled in. It's odd because it's only from 2,000ish to maybe 3,500 RPM
Should i mod a 2012 V4 SE? I want to but i dont know if i should just get a V6. The V4 is my fathers and is very well kept and perfectly maintained and stock
My opinion: if you can get the V6, it’s a huge power difference. However, if you just plan on keeping the four-cylinder, I would recommend not working on any performance and make it a show car instead.
@@81TR33Entertainment Thanks. I really like the 4 cyl and if i wanted to get a V6 i would never sell it. I think if Toyota makes a better Trd camry or GR camry possibly i’ll look into that, but if not i’ll get a previous gen V6 since those look really nice as well
Honestly, no. As a Camry, we all know that they can last forever if you maintain them. As far as the after market parts. It is always trial and error. But if you follow my show, you'll see all the aftermarket parts that are lasting and worth it
