Love it. I toyed around and added a second ghost column "Labels_2" for the "Target" data. Then changed the formula for "Labels" to =IF([@Actual]>=[@Target],MAX(Table1[@[Actual]:[Target]])+1000,MAX(Table1[@[Actual]:[Target]])) and the formula for "Labels_2" to =IF([@Actual]
Holy cow there's a a ton of useful technique to be had here. Very relatable to a lot of charting I do and builds a much better foundation. Thanks so much for sharing!
Hi Mynda.. a brilliant solution! Simple and effective.. love it! Thanks for sharing your great tips and techniques. I always enjoy pulling things like this out of my toolbox when someone asks.. how can I do this or this? Thumbs up for MyOnlineTrainingHub!!
No, Pivot Charts only display the data in the PivotTable, not data from outside the PivotTable/formulas. Perhaps you'll find this technique useful for creating charts from both PivotTables and formulas: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5vOqZBmBRos.html
This didn’t really change the label position. I want to be able to set the label position to the end of a line chart but have the number come from a cell. Any advice?
Thanks, Mynda, nice tip. What do you suggest for stacked columns/bars? I often use them to display segments, but usually want to display only the total value in a label outside the end. It always vexes me. My trick is to add a ghost segment with a small fractional value as the last segment, then label only it with the total value. Is there a better way?
@@MyOnlineTrainingHub A very good morning Madam Thanks for ur reply But I need text inside column madam including both data label and extra text Like more than one data label in the column please
The Data Label values are horizontal, is there any option for showing them Vertical on the Bars like "10,000" is not written from left to right but from bottom to top? Please Help
