I got sick of trying to keep my fishing rods out of the way and safe when my truck was loaded up so I came up with a solution to store them inside of my Leer canopy for less than $20 bucks.

Just finished up this same project. Thanks for the tips man! Every time I would go fishing I’d be nervous about my rods breaking with various gear rolling around in the truck. Not anymore 👍🏼

This was the solution I needed. Most of my rods are 7 ft 1 piece rods and my truck canopy is only 6 foot long. Thanks for making this video

I had the same idea. Glad it will work when the shop gets my top in! With the sliding front shell window, and rear cab window I figure some of my longer rods can extend into the cab!

Great idea you saved me the hassle of using pvc. Going to to do this to my fiber glass tonneau cover and the under side of travel trailer storage 👌🏽
