@@lw3269 fair enough. But imagine someone who killed their first deer etc and they're proud of it, wanted to mount it on their wall? Differant strokes for different folks
Very nice! The only negative I could find was the fake looking stone used on the fireplace, kitchen island and master bath. Surprised at how bad it looked. Just my subjective opinion but everything else was literally world class. You guys do great work. :)
Your bars need a footrest. An led underlight will make the bar look great. There should be hooks under the bar for pocketbooks. Bars and countertops should have rounded or lopped off corners so they'll be safer if someone falls into them. There should be AC and usb under bar outlets for powering chargers and accessories.
You know most of us watching can't afford this. Honestly feels like a large flex...but I like it. Personally it gives me ideas about what kind of home I want one day. I want to have a big family (8-10) so this kind of house size is what I'm looking for, just with more rooms.
How far do you travel please comment back that is one big question and then I could make my decisions what did something like this home go for and did you do all of the work please comment back absolutely gorgeous home use know how to make a gorgeous home
All of North America except California, the home is this vid was built in South Dakota, we have built over 5400 homes, family owned company since 1966, thanks for watching
Do people typically do hvac systems in log cabins? My husband and I are building one and I just don’t know if it’s needed. Especially if we put in wood burning stoves. Our logs are only 8 inches.
@@goldeneagleloghomes Thanks for the reply. That's interesting, because the logs are so thick, they absorb the heat and help to maintain the internal temperature :)
I was wondering, on which software you have used to make these awesome virtual tour n walkthroughs. they are rendered right or simply photos stiched together.
The homes are usually built with local tradespeople. Golden Eagle provides the log and timber manufacturing, the plan design, engineering and most of the materials.
How would a house be built to have 2 fireplaces/hearths on top of each other? I.E. on 1 floor and on the same spot the floor above, using the same chase/smokestack?
Golden Eagle Log Homes, is it possible to install solar panels in a log home? To make the home entirely energy efficient....It it was, that would be awesome!😃
Yes indeed, we are very dedicated about energy saving check out this link alsowww.goldeneagleloghomes.com/research/log-timber-wall-systems.asp and scroll all the way down
I live in a house with more than 16 rooms with all attach washrooms and 3 floors and Ext but for some reason this house seems larger than mine and I noticed that the marble in my kitchens table is same to the marble on the house kitchens table
You could totally lend me a house, I'll give you guys a good 50 year in-home review! (P. S. - I'll put out the good word for you guys to put y'all on the log cabin building map 🤫🤫)

Although we have built homes in California, we have come to find that too many projects were interrupted by tedious red tape from both a local and state level. This has resulted in such long delays that we have found projects never broke ground - even though we did all of the engineering and materials selections. With that in mind, we have decided that it's not in our best interest to work on California projects when we have other families on our waiting list.
@@goldeneagleloghomes yes, I completely understand. I think California has become this other country that is more like a dictatorship than it’s image presents. And you know what’s worst, I live in Santa Monica. Thanks for your reply. 🙏

Short Answer: $1,200,000 to $1,500,000 depending on amenities. ♦ Turnkey costs do not include the unpredictable variable costs such as price of the land, well, septic, landscaping, taxes.
