Ah yeah! I was actually thinking of customizing my old pointe shoes! Pointe shoes kind of start falling apart the more you use them and the shiny glossy outside starts ripping off. You can cut all of the outside fabric off and you’ll have a kind of canvasy texture to work with.
I used to have a pair of 6inch, light teal, pearlescent heels that I called my "hooker shoes". I could only walk in them for a short period of time, and my favourite memory with those shoes, was me and a friend going clubbing, but I couldn't walk in them for very long, so he carried me to the club. Then, when my feet were sore from dancing, he gave me foot rubs *at the club* . Trust me when I said everybody was giving me jealous, dirty looks that day XD. There are other shoes that I've seen that took my breath away, but since having my son, I haven't been able to wear anything but running shoes. That being said, I do plan to eventually customize my own shoes. I want to make them rose themed, but I think I may go succulent instead, as I'm MUCH better at drawing/painting succulents.
@@paranoiarpincess if I wore 6 inch heels i would be 6 foot 4. I don't like sticking out like a sore thumb do i cant do that. Being a mom makes flats a uniform.
Can I just say... That Ms. Mira Byler’s channel is probably one of the most chill channels on RU-vid. Other people just talk non-stop, but Ms. Mira, is a pretty chill person it seems like.
These shoes are so dope! I love them, the bee on the tip of the shoes just complete the whole shoe and it’s amazing that she did it all by hand and just from a thought. Great job!
I used to wear these grey, off-brand converse shoes and during musical season my friends would doodle on them. Once the stage designer added his own doodle and it made my day!
After you did the clouds, I actually said, out loud, "aww that's so cute!" I'm super disappointed they're too small. I want to enter, but I will leave them to someone who can actually wear them ^-^
@@stepankhudaverdyan3771 bummer! That said, it's way past the due date to enter so at least them not fitting helps you not kick yourself for missing it. Yay silver linings!
@@Zuckerburger_342 It makes me a little sad since I love bees. Oh well, most people wouldn't be making anything in my size lol. Stores barely carry anything in my size.
I’m rocking some big ol’ US size 13. Which is just about impossible to find women’s shoes that big. This is a really good idea to help feminize some men’s shoes because that’s all I can fit my feet into.
I’m hoping to go out to South Dakota with my family to see my brother :) Also, My whole back yard is covered in ice so it’s so fun to (pretend) skate around, haha!
I love those shoes. But I honestly couldn't wear them because I would be afraid of ruining all of your hard work. I would put them on display for everyone to admire.
I know right... after using the pasca markers... I wonder if there's a way you can coat them in some kind of..thing...so the paint don't get off.. hmmm... I have to ask my friends that are more experts..hmmm
My funkiest shoe was a white shoe 👟 it was not brand so I wore it everywhere I didn’t have any shoe other than that shoe but when my parents got me adidas I loved it and I actually had my old shoes for 3 years if not more then adidas saved me 💖U oh and the old shoes were so dirty you can’t even tell if it is a white shoe
I'm so sad... these are my size but I don't have Insta. Can we do the same thing just with RU-vid instead? So we have to be subscribed to you and we have to comment the keyword on one of your vids? I REALLY want these shoes!!!
I think maybe you should costumize.. ~Mugs ~School bag ~Pencil case ~An Art Folder ~Christmas Ornaments ~Picture frames ~Headphones ~Jars ~Wooden Art Boxes !!Just Ideas!! You can do whatever you want, or use some of my ideas! :) Love youuuuu
When I was in high school I used to wear knee high platform boots WITH plaid skirts haha! I love these Converse, you made them so adorable. The bee is definitely my favorite part. They are not my size, so I will sit out of entering and hope someone who can actually wear them wins!!!
Omg these are the perfect size for my mum or me!!! I definitely entering, bc they are super cute.🙀🙀 You are so talented! I love your vids and appreciate you giving back to your viewers and subscribers!😸 Evie Xx 😜😜

I found boots in the desert. They were black with copper grommets dispersed all over the toe and heel. Im a size 12 and can never find anything like that in stores. I took them home cleaned them up, and they FIT! I wore them everywhere for 2 more years.
I love my chucks. I don't remember a time when I didn't wear them. I just "gifted" myself a sweeeeeet pair of converse platforms for my bday last year. They're leather. So awesome. They have limited editions come through every so and so often too. Some are so amazing Oh also... you can customize your chucks too. They give you a bunch of color options for every part of the shoe
I've got a pair of boots with gold stars stitched on the sides, a pair with love hearts stitched on and a pair with blue flowers printed all over. Great jobs on the converse they are so cute x
I wore a pair of black lace up men's shoes that my mum found on the bus one day. I was 16 and going through a phase of dressing a whole outfit for under $10 Aus. So proud of those shoes.
I once bought some knee high converses that were all black. I am a very artsy person so I wanted to customize them to fit my personality. I sowed patches of different colored fabrics onto them and painted each patch a different star wars theme. So in total I put on and decorated nearly 50 star wars patches onto my converse.
Oh my goodness these are so adorable! I never really had any crazy shoes except a red sequin pair of Toms but I did have a pair of black and white converse that I wore so much that there were giant holes in the bottoms (like the width of a baseball) and I wrapped duck tape around the toe end of the shoes so I could wear them longer lol.
Aaaw these are really cute! My most "craziest" shoes were - well, in my opinion - nothing extreme, I just had two pair of green shoes, one dakr and one light and I wore both at the same time.. So dark on the left and light kn the right.. And I had a red one too, I wore that with the light green once.. Oh and different colored shoelaces, all the way! 😄
You know what would be super cool if you wanted to do something similar again? The white, slip on canvas Van's without laces would give a totally flat and open space to create. I could see some cool botanicals on that style of shoe looking amazing.
I colored on my vans with pink blue and green with markers. Then I put the shoes in water and it came out with a watercolor effect. I really like them!
These are adorable! I love how you draw/paint bees! As far as the wackiest shoes I had..well, they were Converse & I had my friends each draw or write something on them at the end of my 11th grade school year. I still have them & even though I don't talk to anyone who wrote/drew on them, they're still a precious reminder of a period of time in my life where I wasn't sure where I was going or who I was yet. They looked kind of tacky, but they meant so much to me & that's what mattered. 😊
Hi Mira, I love your art!! The craziest pair of shoes I’ve ever had is a white pit of vans. I did the same thing and used them as a canvas! They were Queen (the band) themed and I painted Freddie Mercury on the toe. On the side of each shoe I painted a silhouette of each band member! I wish there was a way I could show you, but thanks for sharing your ideas with us!:))
I wore a pair of crushed velvet maroon Doc Marten boots in the 90's. My favorite shoes ever. Luckily I had a friend that worked at Journey's and I put them on layaway. Had them on layaway so long that by the time I remembered I had them, they were on sale and at least half the original price.
