Custom Samurai Armor Unboxing! 

After talking with the armory the small padded obi can/is for wearing under the armor but its quite small/thin that’s why I got another thicker and wider obi but there was no padding in it, and to wrap it around the armor while it’s on display is a “westerner” thing, the Japanese put it inside the box. They are sending me another set of obi as the armory forgot some things. The pieces of clothe are just extra pieces they threw in, not sure why.

Haha there’s a lot to decide when choosing, honestly I should’ve customized it more, but it’s hard to tell exactly what it will look like. So I just went with the website look. Micheal is awesome when it comes to answering questions, and comments. Love their customer service!

I drove all my friends crazy before I got it ordered, was looking at it every day until I ordered it. I would love to do a video of me putting it on, but I don’t have the under clothing, but I will think of something!

@@bnsf67 I can understand that lol I've seen some others who have put the armor on over normal clothing but you can do what you think is right. Can't wait to see how it looks once its on.

@@bnsf67 That would be epic in my book. It could help others to see how it looks I haven't seen many with some good close up shots of the armor. Most people pull it out of the box and then put it on or show it at a distance because the are trying to get it all in one shot. I think I've seen one video with close ups and it was a review stile video and saying was was different from this armor to the OG armor made way back in the day. Japanese armor is different then European armor that armor you need a arming jacket with points to put on right. And Japanese armor from what I understand ties to its self so no special clothing is needed.

Hahaha, the black pieces that I played with are just extra clothe they must have thrown in. Both of the black obi’s are belts, one for under the armor, one for over the armor, and the Blue one is the obi to hold the Katana and things. Thanks for watching glad you enjoyed it! It definitely is a beauty!

It fits great! I put in my measurements. It would fit better if I had the under clothing

@@migzahoy Congratulations on ordering the armor! I have recently moved and life has hit me hard. It’s still on my mind to record videos about the armor, I will get to it as soon as I can get the free-time.

@@bnsf67 thanks for the update man and hang on we all gonna get thru this on our side here too the lockdown and quarantine got us but we sill holding out working 24/7 also i just wanna ask when you gave them your measurements the do size is the actual size of the 2 front and back plates right or its just the measurement to the front then they will just duplicate that to make the back plate?

@@migzahoy I assume they use the measurements for both front and back plate, but I’m not an armorer so not quite sure, but it fits great with what I gave them.
