Hi guys! I'm a little bit late, but here is the doll I made for Mermay!

I gave adding captions a try for the first time in this video. I added English because that's my native language, but I translated it into Spanish as well. I'm sorry I can't check the accuracy of any other language. I can only use translating services and can't speak the language personally. I hope it helps more people enjoy my content!

Because of the way you highlighted the eyes, I thought they were in-set eyes when I first saw the thumbnail. She's really pretty! 😍

Thanks so much! I also noticed that when I'm a few feet back from her that they look inset! I think it's because of how deep they look? Thank you again!

She looks lovely, maybe she'll have a sister that's more shark like appearance like shark tail, dorsal fin on her back. This one is enchanted while her sister more shark. your probably gonna have to use either felt or air dry clay to make her shark tail and dorsal fin on her back. Keep up the great work. :)

I think that's a great idea! I like to make "family" members for my dolls. :) Totally agree on the tail materials. Maybe a vinyl or felt. I like the idea of it still being able to be posed. Thank you!

Thank you! My first instinct was to make a "goldfish" mermaid actually! I have a lot of gold sequins, so maybe next time. :D No need to wait for May to make a mermaid. But that said, I really do like her simple design as well.

Thank you! She does make me think a bit of the old siren stories (in my short story for her she's actually cute and innocent looking to lure in potential meat lol). I'll keep it in mind!

@@StarlightDreamDolls I've found it helps a lot! I want to try to do a body color change with this technique soon. Hopefully I can actually stand to use pastels instead of paint then lol

Don’t use laytex gloves when working with acetone. The acetone will melt a hole in the gloves.

Is that the same with nitrile gloves? I honestly don't know if they are the same material. Thankfully I've not had that happen yet, but I did notice after about 4 uses that the ends of the finger tips sometimes snap or tear.
