I love going to second hand stores to find fabric for my doll projects or I upsicle my own clothes. I love esing existing clothing pieces because my local fabric store only allowes half a yard minimum and I end up with a lot of waste and I can also find a lot more fun fabrics and colors at my local thrift store
Removing or touching up the painted underwear is cetainly tricky, I used acetone on SH's Heater and it did not seem to damage the plastic, but I had to use sandpaper in some spots anyway
She is so beautiful and I love her skin color and she is so beautiful and cute and I love her gray eyes and her hair is so cool and thank you for making a beautiful and wonderful video and I really in enjoyed watching your video and I hope you have a wonderful morning and day and evening and afternoon and night mew 🪷💜🪻🌸💙🤗🪸🧜♀️🔮🪄^^
I found your video! I was scared it would be hard to find, but I just looked up Resin Soul Mei and it popped up so fast 😂 (This is Birtch's Den from Mercari)
What an unusual and fun mermaid..I love all her bright colours and her fun face paint. The factory hair was perfect for her and the outfit is fabulous ..Great job I love her 🥰
Thank you! 😊 I love that you had the same thought! A full underwater circus would be fun too, but I know myself in that I do not have the patience! lol
it is sad that Joannes is going out of business. but they do upcharge like crazy for fabric. I would look into either online stores or local smaller businesses.
Definitely! Sadly I live in a pretty rural area and now I have to drive to another town just to have access to a Hobby Lobby. We don't have any small sewing or fabric businesses here, but I do source a lot of my fabrics from thrifted clothes. So at least I still have that option. I always feel insecure about buying fabric online because I like to be able to feel it first.
I use the magic wand with "apply to connected pixels only" turned off. All of my flat colors are on the same layer, but if yours aren't, you can check "see multiple" and choose all layers (looks like stacked paper).
Thank you! For the dust collector, it's kinda like a box fan on medium? It's just an off brand one from AliExpress ☺️ I can find a link when I get back to my desktop if you want the exact same one though!
Sorry I'm late! Here is the link to the dust collector- www.aliexpress.us/item/2255801051345634.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.123.223118024nWYyg&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa It's probably $10 more expensive than when I bought it, so I would look around a bit and see if you can find something similar. There are usually comparable products for cheaper. But the price will probably fluctuate soon for this one if you want to watch for a sale. I certainly would not spend the "full price" of $60 for this dust collector. It's not THAT strong, but it's good for a cheap one.
I know this video is old but I had a problem with a MH doll where the whole face was like this and even when I sprayed the MSC it was coming out shiny. I now make it a point to use a dry magic eraser all over the face before spraying to help keep the vinyl that mat feeling. (Learned this from American high customizors haha)
@@BlurredColors yes! It’s great. My theory is the acetone messes with the vinyl a bit (which is why acetone is outright shunned in the AG community lol) so the MSC isn’t sticking right.
@@xXprettyxkittyXx That could have some truth to it! Especially considering if you want to shrink a vinyl head, soaking it in acetone is the way to go. I think it removes the plasticizer? What is the AG community?
