Love the og silverado mods. I have a 08 and I've used this to help me with ideas for my own. I have the same tailights except mine are smoked red. Lasfit lights are amazing.
I have a 2008 and have been thinking about selling it but after watching this video makes me want to turn it into a project truck. Always thought about taking off those bumper panels but wasn’t sure what was behind them. Looks great and gave me much motivation to get mine done as well.
LONESTAR HAWAIIAN maybe wrap the tailgate handle and housing as well, I did this to my 2013 Chevy Silverado LTZ with white vinyl wrap to match my white paint.
@@shaunanthony9421 good idea, what did you do if anything to help the vinyl stick to the textured plastic? Recently ordered some vinyl for my Dad's 2008 ruby red and planning on wrapping the tailgate bezel along with the bowties if it matches well enough!
I removed those on my 2008 and found the back passenger door had been painted and the clear coat was being pulled away from the adhesive remover so now i have to get the paint corrected but love the straight body lines now

Looks great man. Little stripe part on the grill would bother me after a while. I understand what you were doing, but for me I would end up taking it off. Great job on it, love how it looks.
I hope you do keep doing new things to the 07. It gives me good ideas. I have an 07 2wd as well. Mine is a 3 inch lift with 33 but I think I'm going to go to a 6 inch lift with 33. Great channel!!!
sitting with a 07 starting to get rusty on edge of back fenders, so when I fix that would be cool to throw some custom paint to hide the areas instead of repainting the whole truck.
I miss my 08 silverado crew cab. Need to start mods on my 14 now. Loved the stripes on this episode. The design fits you perfect especially being the Lonestar Hawaiian. The stripes give it that hawaiian warrior look. Im hooked again. Been binge watching your videos for 2 weeks. Love your Truck , i have a 2010 Grey Silverado and it has the same body style as your's and it's amazing. One day i'll have to upgrade my exhaust though. Would you recommend Cat back? Or just cut the muffler out and go back from there?
I've been super happy with the muffler swap and dump at the rear axel... one day i'll get around to doing some long tube headers and a full exhaust, but super happy for now

Don’t understand, my OCD would have had the door painted, you did the priming and sanding, then taped over it.... I like the tape project....it looks great. That would have not been a really expensive fix on the paint. It is done everyday.
Paint is 13 years old. It wouldn't match if I just repainted the area. I would have to sand the driver door, extended cab and bedside, blend the paint from the driver door back, and re-clear the entire side.... or just wrap over it.

I have a 2018 Chevy Colorado 100 Year Centennial edition and like to keep it as stock as much as possible, but “Rocky” has my personal flair /mods. Love your channel and your vehicles....
No Ford in your garage you are saving your self time money and integrity lol. I have my 2012 Silverado and I will never have a Ford but I will be getting a 2015 challenger lol
dude the worst thing you could do is buy a Silverado. I'm not just saying that because I'm a Ford or ram guy I'm saying that because I have a 2016 that I bought new and its been the worst truck I've ever had. do yourself a favor and stay AWAY from Chevy. Buy a Toyota if you want longevity!!
