Really demonstrates favoritism in Dimps since they gave Blue Gogeta moves from DBS Gogeta and Kelfa moves from Kale and Caulifla immediately upon release. While we're hoping for that I'd like Beerus to get Destructive Fission and God of Destruction's roar to be fixed. GDR is useless since it has no range now.
@@nicholasbrown9841 don’t forget that Z Broly still doesn’t have any of DBS Broly’s moves at all it would’ve made sense because DBS Broly has Z’s moves but no he only has his own and for some reason Nappa’s, Raditz’s and Turles’ ultimates but not any of their normal supers crazy how all the newer mentors have all these crazy moves from other characters but Z Broly doesn’t even have his own counterpart’s skills

SSJ4 Vegeta is My Main. I love his combos, they are clean, and you can really catch people off guard with how crazy your ki damage is. Stamina Break Usually Equals Death!
I fw ssj4 more but damn, he's the embodiment of slow multi-hit basics. Using him before custom options was a test of patience, but satisfying af when youd get that limit bursted final shine off. I dont get why him & a handful of the *new* custom cast are the only ones with sht like super afterimage tho. Only thing keeping me from saying god's all around better. Why do you use regular afterimage over super afterimage tho?
This, his normals are bad lol and I'm sure you can't vanish during some of them because it locks you into them so you have to ki cancel to get out of them, other characters have the same issue, like future gohan, ssb vegito and janemba just as examples
@@theninja2k14 future gohan's got some of the best utility supers so him being slow dont matter. Super explosive wave's backflip, senko ki blast, & even sonic rush as a long range backhit, if the person youre vsing fears his helicopter backhit. One handed kameha is pretty overlooked vs giant namek spam too
@@mfspectacular it kinda does because the only to do actual damage on him is to spam super explosive wave, backflip is just cheap, senko ki blast ain't that good for it to be a issue, his backhit is really good because it seems to have lingering frames compared to the other helicopter legs but again bad combos where he has to ki cancel out of it so tldr for me he's low tier I'd rather play yamcha then this, hell I'd rather play krillen
@@theninja2k14 you dunno how to use him well then. He's my goto for scouting out tryhards, seeing if someone im unfamiliar with is chill or not. Kameha mk 2 & super ki explosion are your gotos for massive stam break dmg. Sonic rush does bonus dmg on the ceiling & *now* is a hard knockdown, as in you can just loop it until your opponent evasives. Bonus with the tracking buff it got, you can use it immediately after a power ki blast (ex; xyy > power ki blast, sonic rush). Super explosive wave's backflip aint cheap tho. You *need* 2 bars just to do it & it wont have you facing your enemy like regular backflip & the block spam *that* enables. Adult gohan with the tech preset + krillin's z soul, now *that's* cheap
@@mfspectacular sonic rush doesn't do bonus damage when at the ceiling that additional damage is from a bug with the elbow only in pvp (I just tested so you are looking sus), it's always been a hard knockdown for a long time just depends how close you are to the ground the basically wild hunt buff is nice but the move imo in terms of animation commitment is still it's weakest part so you won't be able to just infinite because they will recover enough stamina to get out before the second one hits and or just after the second one hits wild hunt beats it out imo because it's overall faster and you vanish to your opponent, no the bad defense of "WeLL yOU JuST DoNt KnOW hoW To UsE hIM" I know him enough to know he's bad in most crucial aspect, normals which especially when you basically need to ki cancel to get out of them when 90% of the roster can just vanish out their combo for 1 stamina bar says alot (same problem as ssj4 vegeta as you'll see in the video

As God Vegeta, you don't wanna go for his YXY, specifically that second Y where he goes for the super laggy and slow backflip. You actually wanna do a second light and then go for the heavy because he will have less endlag, it sets up a knockaway into a ki super or dash cancel for infinites, or you can follow that up with either X for the hard knockdown, or Y to go for the hard Knockaway
Ok not gonna lie, if XenoVerse 3 did drop it would probably sale fairly well. - XenoVerse 2 is the best saling dragon ball game - The fanbase is very much active - The premise will pretty much always be thirsted for In terms of dimps reputation with dragon ball games, they seem to always do far better with the third entry (look at Budokai 3 and Tenkaichi 3) But if they treat 3 like how they've been "supporting" 2, yeah it'll go down hill...
While not a fan of Dimps I will give them one thing they know how to hype up their games to be bought/get Dlc. terrible at balance but excellent at PR.
4:57 one actual reason ki cancelling is acceptable,If you are running a slow character you shouldn't be forced to spend stamina each time (looking at you bardock players who think he needs it)
The only character I can think of who actually NEEDS ki cancels to be usable is either female saiyans (Even then, they have access to almost every move in the game just by doing quests, so do they really?) or base Majin Buu
To be honest like this game is like "You know Steed, you faced Red Potara characters quite often so i will give you present, Red Potaras but instead of Super Armor and oither things they will just get bullshit hits and dodges.".
I started watching your videos while you were ill and just putting text on the screen. I really liked the content and learned a lot. I much preferred it that way. Your commentary is just so negative. Constantly saying bad things about the game and how it's awful. Why even play? You really don't come across like you're even enjoying yourself and there's no fun to be had watching you have a bad time. this is very true. but he can't quit it, it makes him money and any other game he puts out bombs "view wise" so he is stuck playing a game he hates and hates people who enjoy it. its sad but he's still not the worst XV youtuber. his not commentary are better than live though, that's facts.
SSG Vegeta's basic attack power is Strong while Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta is capable of Destructive Ki blast damage with Final shine attack, that's my opinion at least
It really does not take skill to press a single button to let the game fix your mistakes cuz of your dog water skill and considering how the majority of xeno players call it "meta" is very telling of how much they need this crutch. As for Vegeta, personally i like SSG Vegeta due to the damage output of his basic alone, add in his damage boost SS and an unvanishable for those particularly cheesy player, and I'd say he has a much better pay-out than SSj4 Vegeta. Sort of a high risk, high reward type of deal

I had a ki cancel argument with my freind and he said I can't beat him without it and when I didn't use and beat him 12 times in a row all he had to say was that was more fun than normal.
I feel like God is better than 4, he has that timing thing that 1, increases damage, and 2, upgrades knockbacks and knockdowns to hard ones. His XYY combos into Final Flash without a break if he gets the timing, I think he overall just hits a lot harder. But the main thing he has over 4 is he's just a better character, much faster, can actually catch his opponents, he just as a character slot is better and has more options.
There's a lot of times where a character is given a move in a pq that they don't normally have and the for some stupid reason don't get it as customs, 4geta with Spirit Slash, Godku with X10 Kamehameha, it's really stupid. But the one that always irritated me most is Goku Blue and Dragon Fist, he full on uses a Dragon Fist in Blue to rip through Mira and get Tokitoki's egg allowing OC to take a killshot in the regular ending, so why do NONE of his FOUR PRESETS have Dragon Fist?!
SSG Vegeta is literally my favorite next to the SSB counterpart. The combos are original, he has alot of stamina breaks, and he has VERY good combo setups. And that kickflip combo is an infinite. So sexy. Lol
Both ssj4 vegeta and god vegeta have relatively slow and unsafe neutral, but i'd give it to god vegeta because when you play him from standing not dashing his first few lights are actually pretty good at catching. Base vegeta shits on them both though with his XY, YXY and YXYX step cancels.
Problem with base though is that light heavy light heavy is the only good combo hence everyone spamming it that I've versed and did that over and over, ssg imo combo wise the best overall
@@theninja2k14 this kind of attitude is unhealthy. In order to truly master a character you should understand when to do the right combo in the right situations. If that means doing the same combo over and over again, since it outclasses other combos in every way, then that is how the character should be played to optimize their performance, which is character mastery. Which is why, it doesn't matter if 4 of your combos sucK if 1 of them is good. You as the player control that character and can lead them into that combo as per your own will. If someone is "spamming" something against you and it keeps working, 99% of the time thats your fault, as you cant think your way into a counterplay despite being given more and more opportunities. The only situations where spamming is cheap is if there is no viable counterplay. For example, DBS broly grab spam, or jump spike spam, which dont have reliable counterplay as they are both grab types and so hit you where you WERE and not where you ARE (due to the way grab types interact with net delay).

@@theninja2k14 no, there are lots of things that people think spamming is cheap, for example ki cancels and ki stuns, however these are universal options available to every character in the game outside of the two rock throwing characters, so its your skill issue if you dont respond and do it back to keep up with them. You cant just say "ah its netcodes fault" thats not how netcode works. All bad netcode means is you see your hits confirm sometimes but because of the packet delay, they later walk out of it as in reality on their screen they got out in time. Your screen was just behind as packets take time to travel across the internet. This is your issue to deal with. If a character has 1 amazing combo and 5 terrible ones, they are only terrible from a design perspective, not from a combat perspective. You, the player, can choose to go into the good combo all the time. So its your fault for not doing that and complaining "these other combos dont work". Ok? why the hell are you pressing to do them then, lol. Its like equipping your cac with weak moves and then complaining about it. Another thing that makes certain combos and types of neutral viable is their priority. As xv2 has clashes, priority isnt a term that is like other fighting games, and instead it is generally accepted as an umbrella term for "how good a combo is at catching people/how likely it is to net them into your combo". These are the combos you should learn to do to catch runners. Some examples include boost L on gogetas, dashing LL cancel on jiren, standing light string on janemba, standing heavy on omega shenron etc. You shouldnt try to reduce the game so simplistically.
@@felix_patriot ki cancels and stuns are not a "universal mechanic" idk why bad players keep pedaling this to cover up their bad skill , if this was the case the game would tell you about it, it doesn't it is a unintended issue which if there is a Xv3 I hope it's gone game will much more balanced (just as a example in storm 4 when you jump around and land there's landing animation stops you from just spamming it till people found theres was a exploit that let you land without no end lag (blocking) fun fact this is banned in tournaments because it's u n i n t e n d e d just like ki stuns/cancels are it's a get out of jail free card with very little risk of punishment
Earth splitting/kioken kamehameha in pvp terms is a bad move and is really only good when they have below 2 bars since they can evasive instantly out and your stuck in a 10 years of recovery so you'll just get stamina broken depending on their evasive like e.g. instant rise
@@theninja2k14 ESGG has much less end lag then before and to be fair ***every*** move aside from the ones that are instant and stuff suck for PvP. and even still that depends on end lag and stuff. I mean hell even punching can be wack look at the end of this video for example.

you gotta admit that the first match was low-key fair. he wasn't running he was just beating you whenever you clashed fr. no hate but it doesn't make sense to say he's running just because he goes to get stamina a few times.

yea it's a glitch with the custom partners, i think it's also like that with kefla and even with some other characters that have custom partners, would be interesting if someone dug into the code and could explain why it happens

Like he doesn't get any special buffs other than that one that buffs the kamehameha but like it's literally just Goku with blue hair am I wrong? Does he do more damage per basic attack as normal Goku? I'm totally fine with being wrong I just dont see the difference other than kioken
I think it’s just kaioken, supers, and his high stats but mainly kaioken because I know there was/is stupid stuff you can do with kaioken that’s makes him super broken

I will tell you now, Final Shine is one of my favorite Ultimates, and since it got buffed (I think) it has been my favorite staple. Is it slow? Yes, but also six bars of ki and 125 in ki blast with a +5 QQ bang

seriously, it's so hard to enjoy his videos because of his constant complaining. this is a fighting game, are people supposed to ignore tech?? one of the points of fighting games is finding tech and utilizing it to your advantage. just chill out and play for fun, does he think people who play at Evo or other tournaments(just to be clear im referring to all fighting games) don't have fun?? most of them are pro level players because they like the game and love playing it at a high skill level. if he saw how i play he would probably call me a tryhard but it's honestly just how i play the game even when im just chilling and almost every time i play online, whether i win or lose, i have fun. usually the thing that annoys me is the connection but other than that i have a lot of fun just chilling out and playing against someone, especially if they're a good player

Like, for instance, one guy at a Smash tournament quit because he couldn't find a GameCube controller with a specific defect and I just sat there thinking "...Really? you were THAT dependant on it?" So I guess my point was less defending XV2 and more pointing out other highly regarded fighting games are in its same boat.
@@connorcampbell-bisson8721 have to agree with you on that guy with the controller, but, about tech, well for me tech is one of the biggest parts of fighting games and a huge part of what makes them so intriguing, i don't think smash melee would have gotten so big if it didn't have its insane tech, it's something that makes the game have a higher skill celling and makes it more interesting to master and learn or even just watch. so basically one of my points is that tech is usually such a big part of fighting games that if it gets patched out or something, it can become a very different game, but if a player got to a pro level, he'll probably still be good at the patched version, take the pro player GO1 for example, he's still an excellent player even after fighterz got patched and still gets patched over the years and mostly ranks the top 3 in the tournaments he's in

I don't hate him but he does kill the enjoyment of most of his videos with it though.
The AI does it, and it can be done most of the time too. Just go to left or right slightly (if you can move, that is) and attack, you should be able to just snap in front of the enemy
The turning around animation just needs to be way faster. Currently it's really slow and locks you into it, basically making you a siiting duck. Even being twice as fast as it currently is would be a major improvement.
The turning around animation tbh is slow af when you're randomly mashing just the attack buttons lol you could just do a back hit, or wait the previous animation to stop and step on a side to avoid the turning around animation.
@@lucajkd3674 many times I have gone for a backhit and the game has just decided to ignore my square input and gives me a slow turn animation as my opponent charges a super attack...
