Customer Wrapped Rolls Collection Dump - Entire Box of Nickels! 

So - I went to pick up a box of nickels from my bank and they gave me an entire box of customer wrapped nickels. After seeing many rolls labeled with old dates and seeing all of the different vintage type wrappers in the box, I was super excited to get this nickel box home and see if we could find any buffalo nickels, v nickels, silver nickels or at least some key dates and semi-key dates. I ended up finding my first ever 1939 DDR Nickel, as well as a few other goodies! Hope you enjoy this video! This is quite an impressive hobby. Very little wastage and fiscally you get back exactly what you put in and potentially more if you get good example ones or rare ones.

The first time I seen a video by him I went to search my coins and quickly spotted a buffalo nickel. Since then I always check my change

The thing is,the person that spent all this time on checking all the dates, all the mint marks and hand rolled all those nickels did it all for face value..."WOW"

When I was a boy about 11 through 13 years old, I worked setting pins in a bowling alley. I got and saved all kinds of coins. I had old old pennies and I had the coin books. Every time I found a coin better than one I had in my book. I took it out and put in the better coin. I had all of the books of nickels , dimes, quarters, half dollars and dollars. My mother told me to let her lock them in her old trunk for safekeeping. I trusted my mother and she did away with my coins and stamp collection.

You know when you get a box of customer wrapped nickel rolls like that you are in for a great hunt... Amazing how all the rolls were dated and sorted takes lots of the Work out for you, I'm sure you found more than a few Valuable goodies in a collection dump that massive! I have only come that close here in Canada Once with a 4 Full Rolls of George VI & Geroge VI Nickels and a few Uncirculated 1967 Rabbit Nickel Rolls videos of finding all of them are on my channel thanks for the content and inspiration!

Pretty sweet score, if for nothing but the DDR and 39S. The rest is just gravy.

I received rolls of nickels with particular labels on them as well. Some were just 1964 D Nickels, but some of them were pre-1964 nickel rolls. Scored 7 silver war nickels as well as a fair number of 1940''s and 1950's in that box of customer and bank wrapped rolls. That was a good hunt. Also get this. What got me decided to do a nickel hunt that day was because of that one video I watched where Rob found his very first V Nickel. His luck in that video rubbed off on me. Amazing!

Get the rest of them from the bank! Please get everything they have not just a box worth. Don't leave anything left unsearched!

If you don't look you don't find. I enjoyed the hunt, just the anticipation of finding something in customer rolls always makes me buy them or pick them up. I can remember the time my buddy says why do you want those rolls Somebody went through them already, and the whole entire roll was steel pennies so you just never know.

That’s a lot of nickel searching. Some nice finds, and to think in just 19 years some of those will be 100 years old and in really great shape! Sad they aren’t worth more.

I went to wells Fargo for a box of pennies but they didn't have any but they did have 30 customer wrapped rolls... I bought them but all I got put of them was a dime, 4 Canadians, and 9 2009's

Its so funny the difference between British and American coin hunting when it comes to mintages, 20 million is a low Mintage in the US but is a massive Mintage here in the UK.

I would be happy with a circulated box. Every box I bought for the last month is uncirculalted.

A lot of coin shops pay face or close to perhaps even less and then customers cash them in at the bank instead. Hard work does not equate value. I have a huge stamp that took 30 years and told it was worthless.
