@@43videogamemaster I like the direction EA is heading with Heat. It seems to be a combination of Pro Street, Underground, Most Wanted and 2015/Payback. They're trying to please as many fan bases as possible and i respect that.

Jeff-a-long same but I want something better than carbon because to be honest there hasn't been a nfs game that is as good as carbon, carbon fixed all the annoying minor issues most wanted had and improved graphics and gameplay and all. Even though mostwanted started the nfs trend of open world street racing WITH consequences (unlike underground) I feel like carbon perfected it for nfs. Just hope heat is better than carbon

Most Wanted 2005, World, Carbon, Undercover and Pro Street had the best customizable kits and cars. But if we are talking older than that Underground 1and 2 bests all.

Has anybody noticed that as time goes by, the customization becomes less limited? Back then, you could do whatever the hell you wanted to do with your car, now, there's still a lot of options, I thing the "zones" feature should have a definite comback.

For me the best car customization is in Payback. I hate ricers kits and parts from Underground series.

I prefer Tuning on Shift 2 than ProStreet, even the both game are simcade level.

NFS Pro Street has the best customization because you could actually make slight adjustments to real aftermarket parts, instead of using blank templates. Not mention you actually also got you use a wind tunnel and could strip and change interior. 2015 isn’t bad and it’s a close 2nd.

Underground was first, Carbon gave us much more in terms of customability, but imo ProStreet had the best system - not only looks, but customizing specs of engine, gears, tires, all of it had an effect ingame.

I think from what I can remember I enjoyed most on the customization from most nfs titles but I don’t think I liked the style rating from the underground games as they didn’t let me truly express myself as much as I’d like. However since 2015 nfs I think it was the ability to share your designs with the community like in Forza Motorsport/horizon games was simply awesome and amazing at the same time.

The reason why customization isn’t like Undergroind is because car culture was not like how it was back then. Plus, today, if you customization your car in real life, you’ll get made fun for being a “ricer” and customization in recent NFS is more tuner than ricer.

Prostreet, underground series, carbon, payback and 2015 had best customizations hands down. Even though most wanted (2005) is a great game I don't think it came close to These games. Also, most wanted 2012 is literally complete trash even worse than rivals I am not sure how people enjoyed that game in general was boring as fuck, same with rivals to be honest. Hope that heat brings in the great customization of payback with the ease and comfortability of carbon and underground
