Hi, hope you are doing good. I got mine today, I felt Rose Gold with Balanced Tips sound great! Please let me know how you feel with this combination. Thank you!
Very honest review, in every single point you made! Just for the information, a little bit downgrade and ridiculously cheaper are the KZ ZS 10proX, believe it or not.... 👍
Honestly, I have NEVER clicked on a video faster than I did on this. This is because I own a pair of these earphones and of all the many IEMs I have owned, they are definitely my favourites. Furthermore, I am constantly trying to improve the sound quality (I just ordered an iFi Phantom amplifier and a pure copper balanced cable, both of which should help in that regard).
@@MasterMarslander Umm not sure, because I found some people have to return it due to too warm even using the silver nozzle. Some said in the previous versions, they used the rose gold nozzle because the silver nozzle was just too bright. So, I think the the sound is somewhat different. But I also dont know if they release the third version though. Since they never inform the public :D
And between MP145 and S12 Pro, which would you choose? And better bass? And between these 2 and MS3? I can't decide which to buy, maybe you can help me.
Haven't heard the MS3 just yet so can't comment on that. Between the MP145 and the S12 Pro if we are talking bass alone, the S12 has more impactful mid-bass, while the M145 has better sub bass performance. You really can't go wrong.
I love the MP145, but I have one major issue. The vocal tips and the bass tips are absolutely impossible to put on over the filters. I’ve never had this issue on any other IEMs, and even the balanced tips barely fit! Any tips for how to put them on?
Oh my gosh, I feel you, bud. I also have a difficult time with it. My method is to sort of pinch the tip so it's more oval shaped and scoop the nozzle in from the bottom. Kind of hard to explain, but that's really the best I can give you.
Great sound but horrible design, especially the position of cable connector. On a heavier IEM it's quite important to use cable hook as support, cable on these provides no support whatsoever due to connector being a tad bit too high.
We do Iem monitoring for concerts, studio, film, etc. The MP145 fits our budget line( $20-$150) and is also good enough for our high end roadcase. We have them in every color, including the Gold Special Edition. But, if they didn’t work for us sound wise we wouldn’t use them. They are the best planar( the only one) in our road gear. I personally have all of them in my personal case also. We work closely with Hidiz and use many of their iems live and in the film/recording studio. All the best Sonny T
@shaship7583 I'm afraid I don't know enough about what happened to provide a meaningful comment on it. It sounds to me like a similar situation to what happened with the Drop HD8XX. Best I can do is my subjective experience with the unit that has been provided to me.
@shaship7583 Oh, this video is based on the version released after the supposed retuning. So, the current version. Unless they did it again in the last 7 months that I'm not aware of.
I am a fan of companies providing the means to customize their product to your specific needs/desires. Very interesting doing the side-by-side comparison too. Fantastic review!
